Tulio was a bit taken aback at this. Miguel of all people - he'd expected him to take a liking to a new guy, if anything. He was so willing to trust people (a trait that Tulio, at times, had been a bit jealous of), always so open and welcoming. The only exceptions had been people who'd obviously been out to get them for the bounty on their heads, angry guards, Cortes and ... Envy. And Tulio couldn't really wrap his head around it.
Not that he liked Envy. He hadn't really wanted Miguel to like the kid, either, but the thing was that he'd sort of expected him to. He was never this guarded. That was Tulio's thing.
