Summary: Hina and Lion have a casual chat over some things. Hooray for building CR!
Rating: PG at most, but I don't think it would even go that far.
Log:

Hina had come in early from her training on that Wednesday to take a fresh shower and get ready for her little meeting with Lion. She needed to repay him for helping her get set on the journey, after all. It was a huge help to her and Mizuki and well... some chatting over tea couldn't hurt, right?

She walked down the stairs, hoping that Lion would be in the lobby before her. But she was already early enough, so she shouldn't have expected too much.

[Some calm, casual conversation was exactly what Lion needed to stop thinking about all the problems that had been happening lately, so this tea appointment was really something Lion looked forward to.

Sooo, Lion will arrive five minutes early as always, hope you don't mind, Katsura-san.]

[She sees Lion! And wow... she honestly didn't expect Lion to be there already and she is honestly surprised.]

W-Wow, you're very prompt, Ushiromiya-san.

[She says, finally down to the lobby.]

[Smiles.] Punctuality is very important, so I always try to arrive to places with a little margin, in case something goes wrong.

O-Oh, really? That's very responsible of you.

Shall we go then?

[Oh, smiles and nods.] Let's go.

So, are you getting used to Johto, Katsura-san?

If it wasn't for the weather, everything would go a bit more smoothly.

Hopefully this winter won't last much longer. I just can't wait to see the warm sunshine and some green instead of so much white.

I agree; it's only refreshing to see so much white if you don't see it too much.

It appears it is finally picking up, however.

I think my pokémon would be really thankful for some spring weather too.

As long as it's not below the freezing point, which it still is. [She sighs and looks ahead.] Ah, is that it over there?

My charmander has complained quite a bit... [Looks ahead too and nods.] Yes, that's it.

Mine actually likes the snow since he likes melting them. But I would have to make sure he doesn't make scorch marks on concrete.

[Goes iiiiin and looks around.] Wow, it's not very full here.

People are probably trying to stay in their homes... [Checking the place now...] Is a table by the window fine for you, Katsura-san?

That would be the more ideal thing to do around now. And that's fine.

[And off they go, to a table by the window then, so they can watch the freezing trainers pass by XD]

So do you prefer any particular type of tea?

Just anything that's not too sweet or bitter is fine with me, Ushiromiya-san. Do you have any recommendations?

I usually just go for simple black tea... But I wonder if they have any new or strange blends in this world.

I can imagine they would be cheap knock-offs, to be honest. Redesigning the label and changing the name when it's actually the same thing.

With all the possibility of a different vegetation it seems like such a waste...

Ah, do they have menus here?

[Nods.] They do... [As if on videogame cue, a waiterwaitresswaitingperson gets closer to them, offering a menu for each one, with a magical npc smile.]

Ah, thank you-- [She peers over the menu after receiving it.]

Hm... Wow, they really are generic.

[Looks over the menu...] Simple black tea it will be... Do you want anything to eat Katsura-san?

An omelet, maybe? [She peers over the menu a bit...]

Yeah, I think I'll have an omelet with orange juice.

All right, then. [As soon as the waiterwaitressthing comes back, Lion makes the order.

And adds as an afterthought.] I really wonder where they get the animal products. Did you see any normal animals on the way here?
