He couldn't lose this one! But at this rate it didn't look good. Shellder didn't have any powerful attacks, only tackle. And though it's shell is hard, when wrapped up like this it wasn't much of a skill.

"Shellder- try and move to poke her with one of your spikes! Get out of that hold!" Shellder managed to withdraw into it's shell again, but moving around to use his spikes was seeming impossible. The paralysis was still heavily in effect. He would be done for by now if it wasn't for that defensive move.

With no more moves to use, and heavy paralysis set in, things were seeming glum for Shellder!
