After a few days of straight walking, Tony's feet were starting to hurt in the worst way. After not being about to talk Steve and Thor into getting a piggy back, he managed to make another use to Dummy 2.0.

As it was now, Tony sat tall in a make-shift saddle from a blanket on Dummy's back, while his Buneary, Pep. sitting comfortably on his shoulder also enjoying the additional height. He had spent the last hour talking about nothing in particular, being a lot more cheerful now that his feet were no longer in pain from pressure.

[Thor would have to admit, he was actually weary--not so much that he couldn't continue, but certainly more than he was used to.

Of course, at full strength he almost never tired, not with such slight exertion as walking. It was one more thing that grated on his patience, along with that infernal, never ending, tinny music.

He was taking out his frustration on the unfortunate wildlife, something Little Friend was more than happy to assist him with--apparently the little creature shared his trainer's love for battle. Thus far they had been leaving a trail of vanquished Bidoof and Rattata in their wake, and Little Friend was proudly reciting tales of his victories to any who would bother to listen--the tales ever-increasingly embellished for his audience.

His next encounter, though, proved to be different--he found himself opposite a small blue and black beast, strange and catlike and throwing sparks from its paws. This one, he thought he would catch.]

[Steve and Grace had just finished with a battle, again Steve had tried to train Poppins, his Hoppip, but he just cried til Grace lost patience and punched the confused Rattata into unconsciousness.

He was debating another training battle as he comforted a sniffling Poppins, a disgruntled Grace keeping easy pace as she clung to his leg, but then he sees Thor. It looked like he was preparing to battle something, but with what Steve couldn't tell from where he was. Softly making his way closer to watch, he sees what looks like a Shinx as the intended prey. Curious to watch Thor battle, he quietly puts Poppins back in his ball and hushes Grace, setting in for a show]

[The little lion puffs up in a threat display, hissing anger. Little Friend looks appropriately afraid for...all of five seconds, really, before launching off Thor's shoulder with a battle cry, bandanna-cape flying behind him. Whatever the Shinx was expecting, it was not a Pichu grappling with it, it looks suitably shocked before it's wrestled to the ground and actually shocked.

Looks like the little mouse is taking after it's dad in more ways than one. Thor is just...shouting encouragement from the sidelines with a proud smile on his face.]

[while Steve looks impressed by the little Pichu's attack, Grace watches more carefully, now, starting to feel a tad wary of the strange tiny Pokemon. Steve does notice, reaching down to rub the top of her her head affectionately, Grace relaxes a fraction but doesn't look away from the battle, calculating the Pichu's aggressive attack strategy.

Steve keeps watching, wanting to clap at the great attack, but plans to wait til the battle is over, no reason to distract the Pichu or Thor.]

[The Shinx seriously doesn't know what to do, getting tackled and wrestled by an enthusiastic mouse wasn't exactly on her list of things to do that morning. She is so thrown by the surprise that when Little Friend pulls back just before Thor tosses a Pokeball,, she just squeaks as it hits her and pulls her in. Oops. Thor goes to pick the ball up, as Little Friend puffs out his chest in pride, them scrambles back up to Thor's shoulder.]

An excellent battle, Little Friend.

[Thor, you're a breeder, you know that right?]

Well, that was impressive. Congratulations Lil'. [Steve feels weird calling the Pichu Little Friend, so he shortens it]

[Grace is staring, suddenly reassessing how she originally thought that rat was nothing to be aware of, she was wrong to think it wasn't a threat. She clings to Steve's leg more, whining to be picked up, which he does, setting her to sit on his shoulders]
