But I had to let you go
Who: Uchiha Itachi and you!
Where: All around Goldenrod City
When: The morning and afternoon of his second day
Summary: Exploring his new surroundings mostly.
Rating: PG - PG-13
Log:
Again. He found himself amongst the living yet again. The only difference was that this was not the work of a jutsu, no one controlling him - he was truly alive. This wasn't even his world. When he'd woken up last night as a part of Team Rocket with a strange-looking creature, it had been disorienting. Most of his time had been spent learning about what he could about this place, going over the network of the device he found himself with. It had certainly enlightened him, given him intel on some of the people here.
There were some Itachi had believed he'd never face again. The very thought of seeing them again drove him to his feet. He wandered the halls of the headquarters for a while, familiarizing himself with the place that would be him home for the next week as he underwent the training. When he took to the streets of the city, Itachi was still wearing his maroon cloak over the Rocket uniform and it effectively hid the uniform. No hitae-ai sat upon his forehead for anyone to associate him with the other shinobi already present in this world. Though his companion -- the Pokemon labeled Growlithe - trailed behind him like a loyal dog.
Even though his walk through the city is a slow one, it doesn't appear that Itachi is looking for anything in particular. He doesn't linger in any one place or attempt to make himself very approachable. In fact, Itachi doesn't look as though this is his first time wandering about the city as he's not gawking like a tourist would. He could be someone who's been around quite a long time.

In an open distance where there was an open space of grass that could be used for picnics, there was 17 and a tall blue Pokémon, Lucario. Some people already crowded from a good distance of curiosity. It seemed like a free spar of a human against a Pokémon. When 17 landed some good punches, Lucario blocked them either with his palms or forearm. Their legs locked a couple of times before both somersaulted away. The only difference between them was stamina. Slowly 17's strength decreased as Lucario seemed fine with it's steady breath.

He wouldn't interrupt the match with idle words, so he simple waited for now.

When 17 seemed out of breath, he withdrew back and was on the defense side. Lucario didn't hesitate her punches as she thrust herself forward and unleashed them like a cut in the air. 17's head moved rather quickly as he saw those punches came towards him. After he avoided the fifth punch, the six one landed on his cheek. 17 flew towards the direction of the punch before he tumbled to the ground. 17 planted both palms on the ground and caught himself before he allowed his chest to touch the ground. When Lucario saw that, she paused for a moment concerned of her master.
"We'll stop for now," 17 called out as he picked himself back up. 17 rubbed his cheek before he spitted blood to the ground. "Damn 16, you punch like a girl," 17 commented. Lucario chuckled to herself. What you expected? Then 17 noticed the crowd. Every time...
"Fun's over folks. Go somewhere else already," 17 mused before he turned his back away to find some shade.

Unlike the rest of the crowd Itachi does not disperse and instead took a couple of steps forward. "Your Pokemon is quite skilled."

"I suppose you lost something as well before arriving to this world," 17 guessed.
no subject
"You would be correct in that. I suspect that it's normal to lose our abilities in this world." Not a question but more a statement.

"How long have you been here?"
