Phew!

[ The journey to Violet City had taken awhile, but it wasn't as long as she thought it would be. Not like the first time she was here, but even then, she had good company. This time, she had a larger company, both in human Pokemon form as she holds six pokeballs from her old team. The egg she got from the Breeding Center will have to wait for a while before she can help it hatch with Axel.

Xion looks around as she steps outside of the Center. Rin, Tsunade, and Obito had gone off to explore, but they said they'd be back with the prospect of more people, too. She could probably search around for them herself, but for the moment, she pops five pokeballs (because one is a Gyarados, shh)... and gets promptly swarmed by large Pokemon.

Oh, boy. Hopefully she isn't found like this. Either that, once she's successffuly disentangled herself from a group of affectionate Pokemon (which will take several minutes), they'll be following her around as she looks for the rest of her supposed traveling group. ]

[ Tsunade is still frail looking, but her face is full of vitality. She has a little squad following her now (consisting of a Tepig, Sandshrew, and a Starly. Tsunade's head is also adorned with a Tentacool, for better or for worse.)

Still, this doesn't seem to deter her as she blows her money on a bunch of pokéballs and important traveling supplies like extra clothes, alcohol and shampoo.

If you want to encounter her later, you can find her battling little snots at the trainer school. She's seemingly careless as her team reduces little children to tears. Oops. Still, she'll be learning the rest of the class later. Admire her fantastic penmanship! Or not. Later on, Tsunade will get kinda.... tired of writing so Tentacool's tentacles will be taking over that gig.

tl;dr: encounter tsunade buying booze, or beating children or going back to school and learning about pogglemons. If you prefer to encounter her in the center, that's fine too. She'll just be chilling with her pokémon, bottle of Saké in hand. ]

[ At some point, Xion and her team spots Tsunade with her group of Pokemon coming out of the Training School. Probably learning more about the mechanics of battling and all that, the girl surmises. She's curious about what's been going on in there, as the old woman looks positively proud of herself, so Xion decides to slowly approach. ]

Tsunade! [ Wave wave. ] Explored the city enough?

[ Tsunade comes out with her heaps of items. This time, she placed half of them on Tepig with a strap to hold it all in place and continues to walk carefree with a heavy looking amount of items as the rest of her little cheerleaders follow her. ]

I explored the school and challenged every student. I was victorious with my team! [ Her team has signs of light injuries, but, Tsunade was chopped in half and lived so she's not exactly giving a damn about this right now. ] I also brushed up on my status afflictions and I'll now proceed to start making remedies with the berries.[ Tsunade is breaking the ridiculous meter here. ]

How about you, Xion? Did you get the rest of your pokémon back?

[ Xion had been looking up in awe at Tsunade for the bit that she was talking. Her energy is something to behold. Her questions manage to snap the girl out of her stupor, though. ]

Oh, yeah! I did. Here they are.

[ She turns to the team of large (certainly larger than their waifish trainer) Pokemon behind her, which consist of a Garchomp, Typhlosion, Scizor, Hydreigon, and a Metagross. They each make a motion of greeting to Tsunade and her team as she Xion points at each one of them. Of course, Bahamut the Garchomp is the loudest and most cheerful when he gives his roar of greeting. ]

Bahamut, Axel, Blitz, Tiamat, and Meta are their names. [ She turns to look back at Tsunade and her new Pokemon. ] Your selection is nice, too! It's a good start. [ That Tentacool on her head... ]

[ Even if Tsunade was physically old, there was no way in hell that she was going to let this younger generation just show her up without much effort. She was still going to put up a fight and redeem herself for the previous ruffled feathers she left amongst the team.

Tsunade looks at all of them and assesses them. They all strike some sort of awed reaction in her. They all look so... different from the little cuties she was carrying around. ]

What fighting spirit looks in all of their glances, heh. [ In some ways, it reminds Tsunade of the gathering of the five kage. Garchomp for Ay, Typhlosion for Mizukage, Scizor for her, Hydreigon for Onoki and Metagross for Gaara. ] I can only hope to make my pokémon look that incredible one day. Nice to meet all of you, I'm Tsunade and this is.... Tonton [ She points to the Tepig who chirps happily despite having a bunch of clothes and food strapped to his back. ] Kazekage, Temari and Mizukage, who, for some reason, really likes my head. [ She points to her Sandshrew, Starly and Tentacool, fixating her confused gaze on the jellyfish occupying her forehead. ]

[ As Tsunade introduces Mizukage, both Bahamut and Tiamat go up to the old woman and try to "speak" to the Tentacool with small growls and rumbles. Xion just smiles a little, hoping they both behave around Tsunade. ]

I'm pretty sure your team will be as strong as mine, Tsunade. They look cute now, but their evolutions will really change them in terms of their looks and what they can do. I'd introduce you to my sixth, but he's rather... big.

[ Would Tsunade like to see a Gyarados? ]

[ The Tentacool replies back, keeping her composure. It's voice is relatively high and seems to communicate in sounds that pitch like whiny, high, muu. It alternates between that and a slightly raspy repetition of his name. Tsunade just looks, still bewildered by the Tentacool, and then she looks at the two strong pokémon, with her confused face still maintaining an unmoving expression. ]

Heh. Once they're strong enough, we should have a friendly competition. But, yes, I would love to see your final pokémon, even if space may not permit. Just how big is he? [ A sixth one?! She's almost in awe as to what it could possibly be if it's too big compared to these ...behemoths of strength. ]

Over... twenty feet, last I checked. I think it's okay for him to be out. He's well behaved!

[ Xion states this casually as she looks around. Fortunately, they're outdoors; indoors would be a no-go. Her three Pokemon shift to her right as she fishes out her sixth pokeball and throws it far to her left. The flash solidifies and grows longer and much bigger, casting a shadow over Xion and Tsunade as Lancer the Gyarados roars his appearance.

His red eyes glance down and spots Xion, and briefly gazes straight at Tsunade and her own team. Xion gives a wave, and that deems the Fifth Hokage no threat to his trainer. Soon, he lowers his large head to the ground so that Xion could give his crown several pats. ]

This is Lancer. Lancer, this is Tsunade, Tonton, Mizukage, Temari, and Kazekage.

[ With her free hand, she gestures to the ones she names so that Lancer could know that, yes, they're friendlies. ]

[ Tsunade's eyes pop open. Gyarados is absolutely massive. The roar causes her to step forward and look with greater determination. This is what she wants in her future. The roar was so intense, that her Tentacool pops off her forehead and goes flying a distance away, onto Tepig's mountain of clothes.

How well behaved too! ] Whoa... Lancer's massive! Such power! And so well behaved too! He's like the water dragon ninjutsu back home, right down to the appearance and power. [ The Tentacool slowly inches his way back to Tsunade and starts to crawl up her leg. ] I'm, I'm impressed, Xion. And I do not say that often.

[He's watching her, finally walking up behind her with pretty much this face as she's made a bunch of little kids cry.]

Oi Granny, don't you think you're taking this a little too seriously? They're crying.

[godaime]

They're just crying because they lost. If they can't stand the trials of being a pokémon master, they're probably not fit for this anyways. [ No, Naruto. No, she's not taking this seriously at all.... she's just giving no fucks for little kid's feelings for the sake of victory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111!!! ]

Yeah but they're just little. Aren't you meant to like, fake losing for a bit so they don't feel bad?

And if I did that, you'd be walking in here asking what type of Hokage loses to a bunch of young people?

[ Tsunade: she just can't win. ]

[Instead of pressing it any further, he decides to get all smug and bratty instead.]

Though I guess you've got no choice but to take on little kids since you couldn't beat me.

You would, and we both know it. You hold the position to the Hokage to such esteem, you'd be questioning why a Hokage lost. [ Winning is so hard in this universe?! Like whhhhhhhhy?! ]

Heh. You got a head start! I'll eventually catch up to you and show you the might of a Sannin! I'll show you how a Kage does it! [ Arguing with another kid in school while other kids are just crying and pointing at her.... Tsunade u r a mess. ]

Then it's on! Pick a day and a place Baa-chan and we'll see who's the best! [Really they are both as bad as each other here.]

Fine! When we each have four pokémon of the same level, we will battle it out! Chuunin Exams Forest of Death style! [ YEP. THAT IS A THING. ]

[Srsly Tsunade you should probably save some of your money.

His amusement at the pile of items and supplies was clear with the laughter that preceded his calling out to her, his cloaked twinPlusle Hachi looking on wide-eyed from her perch on his shoulder.]

Did you leave anything for the rest of us?

[ She has an emergency stash of 2000 poke... which will soon go away as she discovers the slots. ]

Well, a kage has to be prepared for anything. Besides, I need clothes that make me look ... suitable. The rest is for my team and my hobby. [ That's not gambling. Sorry Minato but she loves to party hardy. ]

Looks like you're prepared to not leave the Inn for a week. Or two...

[Didn't sound like that bad of an idea to him though, even if it meant extra time spent in Violet. The kids tended to wear him out just by existing.]

Can I help you with any of that?

No, not exactly. This is traveling material, as well. I just need to get a wagon for it, or maybe examine just how this bag held everything to begin with. [ I mean, it can hold 100+ tms and all of these pokéballs. Fucking bags, how do they work... ] I can't travel on a non-poisoned liver, after all. [ cymbal clap. ]

You could but you don't have to. My room is just a little ways away. [ yes she's staying at the pokémon center. ]

Maybe you can fashion a wagon for Tonton to pull as you travel. Would help stamina and strength too I'd imagine.

[MULTITASKING. That would be the toughest pig in Johto yes sir.]

Great idea! Tonton does need to work on her leg strength... [ Piggy leg strength is a legit thing tbh.. ]

Well, I thought about it and I'll stop by to visit but I'd rather not pay for my room. The pokécenter will work just fine, as I'll be able to observe how the healing works with my morning routine.

Probably more peaceful honestly, with so many of us the Inn can be pretty lively.
