Poochy's Not-So-Radical Walk though the City
Who: Rin Okumura, Tsubasa, and Atsuro and anyone else
Where: Goldenloinrod City
When: October 15th
Summary: Rin's walking around the outskirts of Goldenrod City with Poochy at his side. They're looking to see old faces and maybe get into a friendly battle or two.

Goldenrod City was just as impressive to see the second time around. Sure, it wasn't nearly as impressive as his own home town, but it was definitely a step up from Cherrygrove and New Bark. Poochy stayed five steps ahead of Rin. Occasionally she'd put her nose to the ground, but she made sure to keep an eye on her vagrant trainer. No need for him to get lost, especially in such a big city with one too many different scents to follow.
Regardless, Poochy was glad to be out and about. For one thing, Goldenrod had more than enough trainers who wanted a good battle (and she knew that Rin liked a battle as much as she did). And Rin, who didn't take his eyes off Poochy, was itching for a match. It had been a while since he had battled anyone besides the excitable locals - and they were no match for him.
For another, there was the Breeding Center. It would be nice to visit that place again. And hadn't Rin said something about visiting to Saber? And to that other girl as well? Now was as good a time as any to get that underway. Poochy pushed on ahead, with her trainer following dutifully behind her.

Exiting the Goldenrod train station, Atsuro pulled out his PokeGear and send Rin a quick message. Standing right beside him was his shiny Stoutland, who was looking around the city with careful eyes.
Hey, Rin. Just arrived in the city. I'm over at the train station!

I'm coming there now to meet you!This was something that had been waiting too long to happen. Sure, battles were part of a trainer's life, but battling someone else who has challenged the gym leaders was a whole other challenge altogether! Add to that mix a challenge against a friend and you got yourself the set up for THE BEST MATCH EVER.
Rin called Poochy to him and bolted towards the station, keeping an eye out for that tell-tale beanie.
