KEY:

• BLUE areas are where the bulk of the party's events will be located! As you can see, the festivities will be taking place largely outdoors, and the grounds will reflect that; there'll be the usual decorations of pretty floral arrangements, little lights, things like that. Think upscale garden party! There'll also be a ballroom indoors for more traditionally fancy red-carpet goings-on, but most of the action (and volume of guests) will be found mingling out back.
• GREEN areas are where guests will be staying overnight! Unfortunately, you'll be sleeping-bagging it up, since there's a limited amount of bedrooms in this house and they're all being occupied by Clair, Lance, the Elite Four, and guests who are regrettably way more important than you. However, this is where you'll be given space to leave your possessions, claim some sleeping room, and generally crash for the night once the festivities do you in. (Note: you're welcome to try to sleep elsewhere, but Clair might catch you and disapprove. You don't want that, do you?)
• RED areas are unfortunately off-limits to guests! If asked about them, anyone will tell you that those are the rooms and areas that the Elite Four (and their special guests) have claimed for themselves, and they're sealed off tight. Please don't try to break into them anyway; you'll only be caught and punished.

• AREA A is the designated Indoor Ballroom area, for the people who prefer the classy elegance of a formal red-carpet gala over the more whimsy outdoor garden party atmosphere in the back. There's a big skylight, hardwood floors, tasteful artwork, and classy music — a little more upscale than the shenanigans going on outside, for the people who'd rather that kind of thing.

• AREA B will be the area of interest for anyone hoping to sneak a little Pokemon research on the side: this is the Library/Gallery area of the house. While most of it is your standard "tall shelves of ancient identical books" fare, there are a few points of interest — we've detailed them further right here. Guests are welcome to look around a little, but burying themselves in research the whole time will be highly frowned upon, and you'll be politely encouraged to leave the library alone and go rejoin the festivities if you hole up in there for too long.

• AREA C is...well, the Parking Lot. More importantly, it's where you take your Pokemon battles if you simply gotta get your battle on; keep it out and away from the house, please, and try not to make too much of a mess. Skirmishes, sorties, and sparring will be tolerated here and here alone. Do it anywhere else and you'll be facing some very displeased hosts.

• AREA D is the Elite Four's Trophy Room. Please be quiet and respectful if you come up here to have a look around; it's a solemn kind of place. Here you'll find various collections of badges, ribbons, awards, and trophies put on display, with one wall devoted to each member of the Elite Four. There are also pictures of the Elite Four members themselves, though it seems there's been a changeover since the last prom; the candids and Official Portraits™ depict different people entirely now (with the exception of Bruno) and there are a few photos of some sort of ceremony among the others. These photos include Lance being declared Champion of both regions by Professor Oak, while the rest of the Elite Four look on; Lorelai hugging Will and Karen immediately after their promotion to Elite Four; Agatha and Koga having an exhibition battle between her Gengar and his Crobat; all six of them piling into the frame for what amounts to a massive group selfie, etc.

[ If you've caught sight of Assistant Professor Bianca, you've officially spotted one of those guests that this party's for. Here in her capacity as Professor Juniper's representative, Bianca is dressed in a fairly conservative pale green dress, made more so with a white cardigan worn over it. While she's not quite as bouncy one of the other guest stars, Bianca is a fairly good-natured young woman who looks fairly cheerful about this whole thing. Even if, uh, she originally signed up to see new and exciting Pokémon rather than a huge dance party. She feels like this has gotten a bit away from the original purpose, although Bianca's hardly complaining. While she has a full set of six pokeballs clipped to her waist, none of them are out and about at the moment.

Bianca can currently only be found in the indoor ballroom; she'd feel bad about leaving the area of the party most dedicated to...well, herself and the others. In later days she will probably try to go elsewhere, particularly that library she's heard so much about, but for the first day and night she can pretty much only be found in the ballroom.

That said, she actually isn't really asking anyone to dance, though she never turns down an offer to dance; Bianca seems to be more interested in mingling with trainers and Pokémon. ...And also in loitering near the refreshment table. The little fancy cakes and cookies are really good and she's going to eat as many as she wants, okay? Which is a fairly normal amount, just perhaps upped a bit to someone clearly living it up a little more than usual. If anyone approaches she will greet them fairly cheerfully. ]

Oh, hey there! Isn't this great? Clair must be pretty talented to have thrown this all together so quickly. I didn't even know we were coming until a few weeks back...

[Refreshment table? Funny, that's where Joker is kind of starting to loiter near too, mostly with his Luxray who cannot get enough of the seafood snacks that are about. He grins up at Bianca when she speaks to him.]

She has quite a reputation 'round here, seems like! I've been hearin' what a good gym leader she is, but it seems like she has plenty a talent in all sortsa things!

[He lets a little shrimpy thing drop down to Lightning, who snaps it up and starts to make what sounds like purrs.]

I'm Joker of the Eve's Garden Circus, an' this is Lightning. [He gives a bow, just for the fun of it.] May I have the lady's name?

[Yes you are getting winked at, Bianca. I am sorry for him.]

I've heard only a little about her in Unova...I'm afraid we're a bit far apart.

[ And this is her first time to Kanto or Johto. She was a little more nervous at the start than she is now, an easy smile on her face as she, well. Loiters near the fancy snacks and has some. ]

Eve's Garden Circus? Oh, how fun! I didn't realize there was a circus in town. But I'm Assistant Professor Bianca - from Unova.

'Fraid I haven't had the chance ta go there. What's it like? [Since it seems like Kanto is his only option for now..]

Unova? Well, we do have some pretty big cities...or at least one, with big skyscrapers...that's sort of different from what I've seen of here. And the Pokemon are a little different in terms of what you can find most often, although it looks like you guys have a lot of kinds I'm familiar with, too.

Sounds like quite a place. And if there's different Pokemon, I'd sure like ta see 'em for myself too!

[A chuckle escapes him.]

Although I suppose that's normal for a lot a folks here, huh?

Well, I don't think any of the ones I brought with me aren't ones you don't have, so...

[ She smiles. ]

But you're right! I mean, we came all this way to see the "Bloobers"...I'm supposed to take a lot of notes and pictures to take back to Professor Juniper.

Bloobers? [OH] A shame this place doesn't have a PC! [Or at least one he can access.] I actually ended up catchin' one a those by accident! If I'd known they'd be a big deal here, I woulda brought Guls along. Maybe ya could figure out more than I've been managin'.

Well, they're supposed to be congregated here...I just haven't gotten a chance to go looking, myself.

Since this party is for us, I'd feel a bit bad just, well, leaving it?

[That gets a response out of Kayneth and his Serperior, though it's very thinly veiled disdain --- not for Bianca, of course, but for Clair.]

Talented is a word for it, I suppose... but I'd keep quiet about it. If her ego gets fed anymore I suspect it will suffocate us all.

Well, if you do, don't say I didn't warn you. I'll admit, I'm not looking forward to challenging her as a Gym Leader, I can say that much...

She does seem pretty strong! I'm not sure I would have liked to challenge her, either...although our gym leaders aren't anything to sneeze at, either!

Well, I am attempting Johto's gym challenge, so I'd imagine I will eventually. Granted, I believe my Pokemon are certainly up to snuff, so I doubt I'll fail against her.
