☆ YOU ARE HERE ☆




KEY:

• BLUE areas are where the bulk of the party's events will be located! As you can see, the festivities will be taking place largely outdoors, and the grounds will reflect that; there'll be the usual decorations of pretty floral arrangements, little lights, things like that. Think upscale garden party! There'll also be a ballroom indoors for more traditionally fancy red-carpet goings-on, but most of the action (and volume of guests) will be found mingling out back.
• GREEN areas are where guests will be staying overnight! Unfortunately, you'll be sleeping-bagging it up, since there's a limited amount of bedrooms in this house and they're all being occupied by Clair, Lance, the Elite Four, and guests who are regrettably way more important than you. However, this is where you'll be given space to leave your possessions, claim some sleeping room, and generally crash for the night once the festivities do you in. (Note: you're welcome to try to sleep elsewhere, but Clair might catch you and disapprove. You don't want that, do you?)
• RED areas are unfortunately off-limits to guests! If asked about them, anyone will tell you that those are the rooms and areas that the Elite Four (and their special guests) have claimed for themselves, and they're sealed off tight. Please don't try to break into them anyway; you'll only be caught and punished.

• AREA A is the designated Indoor Ballroom area, for the people who prefer the classy elegance of a formal red-carpet gala over the more whimsy outdoor garden party atmosphere in the back. There's a big skylight, hardwood floors, tasteful artwork, and classy music — a little more upscale than the shenanigans going on outside, for the people who'd rather that kind of thing.

• AREA B will be the area of interest for anyone hoping to sneak a little Pokemon research on the side: this is the Library/Gallery area of the house. While most of it is your standard "tall shelves of ancient identical books" fare, there are a few points of interest — we've detailed them further right here. Guests are welcome to look around a little, but burying themselves in research the whole time will be highly frowned upon, and you'll be politely encouraged to leave the library alone and go rejoin the festivities if you hole up in there for too long.

• AREA C is...well, the Parking Lot. More importantly, it's where you take your Pokemon battles if you simply gotta get your battle on; keep it out and away from the house, please, and try not to make too much of a mess. Skirmishes, sorties, and sparring will be tolerated here and here alone. Do it anywhere else and you'll be facing some very displeased hosts.

• AREA D is the Elite Four's Trophy Room. Please be quiet and respectful if you come up here to have a look around; it's a solemn kind of place. Here you'll find various collections of badges, ribbons, awards, and trophies put on display, with one wall devoted to each member of the Elite Four. There are also pictures of the Elite Four members themselves, though it seems there's been a changeover since the last prom; the candids and Official Portraits™ depict different people entirely now (with the exception of Bruno) and there are a few photos of some sort of ceremony among the others. These photos include Lance being declared Champion of both regions by Professor Oak, while the rest of the Elite Four look on; Lorelai hugging Will and Karen immediately after their promotion to Elite Four; Agatha and Koga having an exhibition battle between her Gengar and his Crobat; all six of them piling into the frame for what amounts to a massive group selfie, etc.

[Dressed in a grey formal suit with a dark green vest under the jacket and his usual tie, Hinata looks like he fits in with the rest of the formal crowd. He's just going to enjoy the party. He came by himself with the rest of his friends. He has no idea what to do between dances and will wander to get a look at where they're going to be for a few days.]

[Trophy room]

[He hasn't been around long enough to know the pictures changed. Hinata walks slowly through the room to see what there is to see. Is this room about the course of their journey since they become the Elite Four? He assumes becoming part of that group requires being at the top of the Pokemon battles, the very best. Kinda obvious even for him to see.

He wonders where they are now and what they're doing. Standing there in that room, is oddly peaceful. Anyone here isn't talking. It's a nice break from the din of the party.]

[Library]

[That one person had said the library at this place would hold legends from other places, and they're certainly here. While he's reading through that stuff he takes time to get more knowledge of breeding and pokemon types. Hinata can be found in the library sometimes. He does remember to go socialize because that's what you do at parties. It would be weird to spend the whole time with books and not meeting people.

Monomi his Absol is constantly lurking where ever he goes. Depending on where he is, she either looks a bit off putting or absolutely harmless. This time there's no way he's letting anyone tell him she can't hang out and party too.]

[Outdoor garden]

[It's a little more exciting out in the garden. He likes the green grass and quieter sort of party that happens out here. Hinata frequents the area a bit to let his Growlithe, Vaporeon, and Riolu time to enjoy the party as much as Monomi is. He keeps track of where they are but doesn't police where they go too heavily. It seems like the best thing to do and he isn't the only one doing it.

During the stages of the day he's fairly active in exploring the garden and talking to people. By the time the first day of the party is winding down he plants himself in a chair to watch people and enjoy some of the offered food and refreshments.]

[By the end of the day, Tsumiki is finding herself very shorted out on the social department. She may not speak with a lot of people, but being around so many of them is enough to be overwhelming. Not to mention the high energy environment and it all adds up to one worn out, ready to find a quiet place to enjoy herself nurse. But instead of finding that quiet place, she spots Hinata. She can't very well not say hi.]

...a-are you enjoying yourself, Hinata-san?

[Surely sitting with him will be quiet enough.]

[He looks up when Tsumiki speaks up. Hinata has Vaporeon in his lap, idly rubbing his tummy. He still has no idea what to call his pokemon. Monomi had been easy, these might already have names that he doesn't remember. It's a little confusing.

He shifts a bit to the side so the poor tired nurse can sit down.] Yes, it's been a lot of fun. Are you enjoying yourself, Tsumiki?

[She looks tired. He should offer to get her something to drink.] Do you need me to get you anything? You should sit down.

[puppetnurse]

[Maybe you should ask, Hinata? Or perhaps have one of Nanami's Psychic types ask!

But she nods in response to his first question, fidgeting a little as she's told to sit down. He scooted over so there's room to sit by him, but at the same time what if he doesn't want her to sit beside him?

She just sort of...gathers her skirt a little and kneels on the ground instead for now. This way she doesn't have to assume and make a fool of herself, or ask and risk sounding stupid in front of him.]

A-ah...y-you don't have to...I'm alright. Thank you, Hinata-san. B-but um...I am enjoying myself, yes...it's really fun, and all of my classmates are here...who are here, at least...

Most of us are. [Gundam not being here is a little odd. He'd been at the party on the island and wanted to be around other people. Well, he'd ask about it later.]

Um, I moved so you could sit down too, Tsumiki. [Right, he completely forgot he has to make that sort of thing clear around her.] It's an interesting party. I haven't seen this many people in a while.

[It's a little jarring. So many people after a time without many around. It's life outside of the game.]

Garden!

Growlithe!

[If you thought Tenten wouldn't immediately stop everything she's doing at the sight of what amounts to a tiny potential Arcanine, you thought wrong. She actually had just walked past it before realizing what she'd just nearly missed out on and pivots to drop down in front of it.]

Hello! [She has a plate of food in one hand, from which she immediately offers a piece of chicken to the puppy.] Where's your trainer? Did you get left all by yourself?

[tallandproud]

No, I'm right here. [Hinata had went to grab some food for him and for his pokemon. They're been whining at him and he figured out why pretty quickly. A pretty pleased with himself Vaporeon bounds ahead of his trainer as if to say, 'see he can be taught'.

Growlithe is pretty excited for the food. He munches it down quickly before giving Hinata wide eyes as if asking to keep this girl.]

Oh, Vaporeon, too! [She hasn't gotten to see one up close yet, shifting to rest on her knees and set the plate atop them so she can offer her other hand to the Water type.

But right, the trainer was here, wasn't he? Tenten looks up with a bright smile.] Sorry, hi. I'm Tenten. You don't mind that I pet them, do you?

[She asks as she sneaks a quick pet to the Growlithe. Considering she gave him food, it seems like a fair exchange.]

[tallandproud]

If they don't mind, I don't either. [Hinata crouches down as Vaporeon presses into Tenten's offered hand like a cat seeking a stroke. No really can they keep her? He laughs and nods her while making himself comfortable.]

I'm Hinata. I haven't been in this place too long. [Quick introductions are easy and way less embarrassing than formal ones.]

[Someone send help, she's making friends with cute Pokémon. Good thing she's not a Rocket, or she might try to take them for herself. In fact, she just sets the plate of food on the ground for the two Pokémon to go after if they want it. Hello new friends!]

Hinata, huh? [He gets a bit of a weird look for that one as she studies him.] You don't look like a Hinata.

[Wow. Rude tbh.]

[That's a bit rude.] ...People don't always match their names in appearance.

[She doesn't even know him! Both of his pokemon even give her a side-eye look, like 'really?'.] What's yours?

No, really! The Hinata I know is this meek little weak girl. You don't look like her at all.

[It's a... compliment?]

I'm Tenten. [She reaches to start petting the two Pokémon again.] What're these guys' names?

Library

[gardentrainer]

[Jade has also popped by the library a few times. It is quiet here and a good way to get out of the crowd to relax before she jumps right back in. Plus, she wants to learn more about this world, so she can further her knowledge even more.

She's sitting on the floor with a small stack of books. Bec approaches Monomi with a curious tilt of his head. He whines a little, but Jade is immersed in her book. If Bec were in trouble, she'd recognize a distressed noise.]

[Monomi blinks at the sight of another Absol. In her time traveling with Hinata she hasn't seen many of them. She lets out a pleased sound and offers him space to sit next to her while her trainer is immersed in books. Hinata has been taking notes on the further information available to him on his pokemon.

She's quite proud of his initiative to learn more.]

[gardentrainer]

[Bec pads over and sits down Monomi, before he wags his tail a bit and barks at Jade. She finally looks up from her book and smiles brightly.]

Are you making a friend, Bec? I haven't seen too many Absols around.

[tallandproud]

[Hinata looks up and blinks. He hasn't seem many Absols either. With so few sightings, he'd started to think he was the only one with one.]

You're the first person I've seen with one besides me. ...are there any others or just us?

[It feels like their own reputation makes it hard for people to keep them. That's really sad.]

[gardentrainer]

He was my starter! [She guesses that it was fitting for her to start with one.] I have a friend who also owns one, but they do seem pretty rare.

I'm glad to see more around. I think they're really great. [Bec barks again and does a few turns.]

[tallandproud]

I want to make them more frequent. There's some Pokemon they can breed with to learn more skills they normally wouldn't. I have two of them. [Super Absols.]

Trophy Room!

[overbiterestart]

[This is one of the places that Jane hasn't explored yet- and it's funny how she seems to always run into people at opportune times. It's quiet in here so she takes her time making her way to Hinata, unsure really of what to say once she gets to him.

Ah, but, she needs to not make it too awkward.]

Hinata, right?

[Yeah, hi. This is the girl that made all those crazy theories at you!]

[tallandproud]

[Ah, it's the girl that shares his memory problems. She'd made some crazy theories but she seemed ok to him.]

That's right. It's Jane, isn't it? [This is the guy who doesn't remember anything. How does one make conversation?]

[overbiterestart]

[If they can even call them memory problems. She makes her way next to him and stands to look at what he is looking at.]

That's right! Have you been well?

[tallandproud]

Yes. I still don't remember anything but that doesn't seem to bother my pokemon or my friends. How about you? How have you been?

[He's looking at the pictures of the elite four hugging after two of them graduated into the elite four.]

[overbiterestart]

I've been the same. [She's been thinking.] I have a Pokemon that was originally raised by me the other time I was here, the time I don't remember. Even he was wary of me at first. So that must be saying something.

[tallandproud]

Maybe because you didn't remember anything he was wary of being attached to you again or unsure what to make of you. [He reaches down and plucks a pokeball from his belt, letting Vaporeon on.]

This was the other Hinata's starter. [It feels weird saying other Hinata but saying my original starter doesn't seem to fit.]

He sulked for a few days when I first got him back. My friend Souda held on him for me. But he left them in his computer box because he didn't want to touch them or make them forget me.

[He crouches down to offer his hand and his pokemon pads over to sniff him and look at Jane with curiosity.]

[overbiterestart]

[She calls over her Bisharp, Dart. He had been trailing behind her, making sure his trainer was safe and sound.] He was probably wary, since this is the second time I have been here. Perhaps he is unsure if I will remain here.

[She reaches over, letting the Vaporeon sniff her before petting it as well.]

Whatever is happening here. It's so strange.
