☆ YOU ARE HERE ☆




KEY:

• BLUE areas are where the bulk of the party's events will be located! As you can see, the festivities will be taking place largely outdoors, and the grounds will reflect that; there'll be the usual decorations of pretty floral arrangements, little lights, things like that. Think upscale garden party! There'll also be a ballroom indoors for more traditionally fancy red-carpet goings-on, but most of the action (and volume of guests) will be found mingling out back.
• GREEN areas are where guests will be staying overnight! Unfortunately, you'll be sleeping-bagging it up, since there's a limited amount of bedrooms in this house and they're all being occupied by Clair, Lance, the Elite Four, and guests who are regrettably way more important than you. However, this is where you'll be given space to leave your possessions, claim some sleeping room, and generally crash for the night once the festivities do you in. (Note: you're welcome to try to sleep elsewhere, but Clair might catch you and disapprove. You don't want that, do you?)
• RED areas are unfortunately off-limits to guests! If asked about them, anyone will tell you that those are the rooms and areas that the Elite Four (and their special guests) have claimed for themselves, and they're sealed off tight. Please don't try to break into them anyway; you'll only be caught and punished.

• AREA A is the designated Indoor Ballroom area, for the people who prefer the classy elegance of a formal red-carpet gala over the more whimsy outdoor garden party atmosphere in the back. There's a big skylight, hardwood floors, tasteful artwork, and classy music — a little more upscale than the shenanigans going on outside, for the people who'd rather that kind of thing.

• AREA B will be the area of interest for anyone hoping to sneak a little Pokemon research on the side: this is the Library/Gallery area of the house. While most of it is your standard "tall shelves of ancient identical books" fare, there are a few points of interest — we've detailed them further right here. Guests are welcome to look around a little, but burying themselves in research the whole time will be highly frowned upon, and you'll be politely encouraged to leave the library alone and go rejoin the festivities if you hole up in there for too long.

• AREA C is...well, the Parking Lot. More importantly, it's where you take your Pokemon battles if you simply gotta get your battle on; keep it out and away from the house, please, and try not to make too much of a mess. Skirmishes, sorties, and sparring will be tolerated here and here alone. Do it anywhere else and you'll be facing some very displeased hosts.

• AREA D is the Elite Four's Trophy Room. Please be quiet and respectful if you come up here to have a look around; it's a solemn kind of place. Here you'll find various collections of badges, ribbons, awards, and trophies put on display, with one wall devoted to each member of the Elite Four. There are also pictures of the Elite Four members themselves, though it seems there's been a changeover since the last prom; the candids and Official Portraits™ depict different people entirely now (with the exception of Bruno) and there are a few photos of some sort of ceremony among the others. These photos include Lance being declared Champion of both regions by Professor Oak, while the rest of the Elite Four look on; Lorelai hugging Will and Karen immediately after their promotion to Elite Four; Agatha and Koga having an exhibition battle between her Gengar and his Crobat; all six of them piling into the frame for what amounts to a massive group selfie, etc.

A) Sleeping Area

[It's unlike Jimmy to really ever run out of steam, but wow is he actually completely worn out from the night before. He ate, danced, and partied the night away. It was probably the most fun he can remember having in quite a long time, the experience dampened only by the fact that Beezy and Heloise aren't here with him to enjoy it. Still, he's all but passed out with a pile of Pokemon next to him, Cherry curled up around him as a makeshift bed as she usually does. By now Jimmy has changed out of his more snazzy attire into the more casual clothes he found in his bag when he arrived.

Probably the most different thing about this scenario is the fact that lying on his side next to Cherry guarding the entire group is a hulking Manectric, his head on his paws as he watches the surroundings with what looks like a permanent look of disapproval. ...Not that Electrikes don't have that, but goodness someone sure did evolve last night!]

B) Outdoors

[Jimmy can be found in various places, particularly at either The Falls or the pool. If he's at the Falls, he can be found with Guava riding on his shoulder, a towel draped over it to prevent his shirt from getting completely ruined. At the pool he can be found sitting near the edge with his jeans rolled up so he can stick his legs in, watching Lucky swim around and dive in and out of the surface of the water.]

C) Basically anywhere else

[Otherwise, Jimmy can be found just about anywhere, exploring the area or doing different things with his Pokemon. He's seen different Pokemon he doesn't recognize roaming around, so he's thinking about looking to see what he can see...not that he'll catch anything, but you're welcome to join in the search if you so desire.]

[Good morning, Jimmy. Someone has decided to try and get you back for the creeping you've done. Without a sound, Denzel creeps up from behind Jimmy's spot on the floor and just... leans over while grinning. Did he get you, Jimmy boy?]

[Well, you would have...if Jimmy weren't fast asleep with his head lolling over the edge of Cherry's body. Boy, he's really knocked out there looks like. The rest of his Pokemon seem to be sound asleep too.....except for Leader, of course.

He doesn't see Crocker though, not yet. He's facing the opposite direction, eyes watching the exit.]

[Denzel just hovers there for a moment or two when he notices the lack of reaction and figures they're all still sleeping and that's when his eyes fall on Leader with Well, in that case... Crocker is going to go and try and Poke-nap, Leader.]

[Leader's head lifts just slightly from his paws as he heard a bit of a disturbance. He keeps his gaze toward the exit, though, figuring that nobody could have gotten in here without him noticing first.

Looks like you're in the clear so far, Crocker.]

[There's pause as Crocker does notice the Pokemon's head move but only to go back and he gives a sigh of relief before Crocker scoops up Leader completely.]

The split second of contact is all it takes for Leader to grow completely alert, his muscles becoming stiff and tense in the man's arms. There's barely any warning, just a brief crackle in the air that makes your hair stand on end before he lets loose the electricity normally stored in his fur as static for attacks.

Nobody sneaks up on Leader.]

[Crocker is rather pleased with himself, after all he thinks he clearly got away with both the boy and the Pokemon still sleeping and when Jimmy wakes up, the child will be sad that his Pokemon is gone. Of course that's when Denzel feels tons of volts course though his body and begins to scream.]

[Leader lights him up just enough so he can pull away from his grasp, sliding to a stop in front of Jimmy and the rest of the sleeping Pokemon. Jimmy awakens with a start, his arms and legs pinned for a moment beneath Cherry's body.]

Wh-...what?! What's going on?

[crackpotcrocker]

[Crocker meanwhile is frozen in some crazy and impossible position and looks a little toasted and just give a few eye-twitches.]

Good... Morning?

M....Mr. Crocker? ...What are you doing here?

....And are you ok?

[crackpotcrocker]

[Twitch twitch.]

Peeling off my dead skin.

... Why do you care if I'm alright or not?

[Jimmy glances from Crocker to Leader, who is still snarling with static jumping from his fur.]

W-well, I....

...Leader didn't attack you, did he?
