Who: Doll & Open!
Where: Goldenrod City
When: All day Wednesday.
Summary: She is taking a break from training to familiarize herself with the city.
Rating: Likely low.
Log:
She was proud of her Pokémon (or her Pokés as she liked to call them). They had been training rigorously since they had arrived in the city. Each of them had talent and she was happy to help train them. In fact, training came quite naturally to her.
Maybe it was something she should think about when - if - she headed back to London? Giving her shoulders a shrug, she tucked Blossom, Abalone and Fay back into their Pokéballs for a nice nap. They deserved the break. As for her, she was off to the city. She knew if anyone needed her, they could contact her through...
Whatever that thing was called. The technology in this world really stunned her. She couldn't remember half of the names of things (and stuff!) that other people treated as "normal".
"That's what I get for travelin' so far from home." she tutted and stretched her legs, lengthening her strides as she traveled down one of the sidewalks. Her backpack was slung over one shoulder and her Pokégear was poking out of her pocket.
As she came to a corner, she paused and considered one way and then the next...
"It ain't a riddle, Doll. Jus' pick a street." she mumbled to herself, putting a hand on her hip, "Lessee...if I go right, that's takin' me further than I wanted to go..."

"Long time, no see, Suit!" she croons and pets over Cicero's back, "I thought I'd check it out. Besides, my Pokémon need a day to rest before the big show."
no subject
"Perhaps that would be best." he replies, taking a pause to adjust his glasses. "I've left Aristotle and Caesar back at my lodgings in order to do the same. Is this your first time in Goldenrod?"
no subject
He will always be Suit to her. Just like Ciel will always be Smile.
"Not really. I've been here for awhile trainin' with the other Circus members, but I haven't really walked around." she doesn't like to stray far from her family, but knowing she has her Pokémon with her gives her courage, "It's such a clean, nice place."

There's another pause though as he checks his watch. Good thing the thing still works. It's still pretty early in the afternoon... so why not? It would be better than doing nothing. "Is there anywhere in particular you wanted to go?" William asks after a moment, almost as a subtle offer to take her around town.

"Aye. London always has a stench." she sighs, "I didn't realize I was gettin' used to it until I came here."
Maybe that is why people got sick in London. The air isn't good for them - especially on the street. She is lucky to have her family and good lungs.
"Would ye be offering me a tour?" her smile borders on wicked, "How kin I say no?"
no subject
That second comment though causes him to push his glasses up again, clearing his throat as he turned his attention away from Doll to the street before them. "I cannot claim to have enough familiarity with this city to warrant being able to hold a tour." he replied, almost hastily.

Glancing at her bag, she makes sure her Pokéballs haven't rolled around too much. She had considered leaving them behind, but it doesn't seem right to take a trip without them - even if they are sleeping.
"I think Joker mentioned you had been here before?" and then gone back, "It must be a confusing transition."
no subject
"It was. Though there didn't seem to be much of a change. Joker took quite good care of my team while I was away." he began, pausing slightly. "Is... there anywhere in particular you want to see?"

A Houndoom and a Luxray turn out of an alleyway and onto the main street, barking and yowling loudly enough to raise the dead. It looks like they're racing each other, and they're neck and neck. They're also heading directly at Doll. It's only at the last possible second that they move to either side of her instead of just bowling her over...and then they just keep running. Where's the finish line? Nobody knows.
Especially not their annoyed and out of breath trainer, who's trying to catch up with them and failing miserably. As he approaches Doll, though, Envy finally slows down. He remembers her, he doesn't forget faces easily. And it's not like he was going to catch up with his runaway Pokemon anyway.
"They didn't run into you, did they?"
no subject
At least until she sees Envy. Her smile comes back and she raises a hand, giving him a wave.
"Are those yours?" she motions with her head in the direction the Houndoom and Luxray went, "They're sure healthy!" his concern causes her to soften, "I think I would be on the ground if they hit me." but his reaction touches her and she appreciates that, "How're you doin', Envy? Need some help catchin' your Pokés?"
no subject
No, he's not serious about that at all, but he's been chasing them for a while now and he's pretty annoyed with them. He takes another moment to catch his breath, looking surprised at her offer.
"You could try, but I think I might just wait for them to come back on their own. Unless you've got experience catching huge runaway animals."
Which she might, for all he knows. She is from the circus.

Crocker has to admit it is strangely nice to run into her outside of work. All of Crocker's free Pokemon run over to greet, Doll.
