You know what's better than a regular birthday? The birthday of a circus.
Throughout the streets of Goldenrod, folks will find all sorts of colorful characters and Pokemon about. Fliers and the like have been regular eve since the Circus started up a year ago, but the advertising is in full force today just to make it EXTRA apparent that today is the day. Another hint is all the air traffic in the skies- various Flying-type Pokemon that make up the Circus' transportation service. Who knows? Maybe you're one of those using it today!
And of course, who can miss the colorful spectacle that is the circus itself? Past the entrance gate (which will let you onto the circus grounds for a miniscule fee) are dozens and dozens of stalls and little tents. Looming over them is the main tent itself, a monstrosity of bright welcoming colors. There are all sorts of things amongst their ranks, but it's generally fairly easy to find what you're looking for as Pidgey of a feather flock together and all that... From games of all sorts like the usual carnival games to more of a retro arcade, to a set of shops with local crafts and maybe something from the foreign trainers.... Of course, there's also all sorts of food stalls and even shacks for more filling stuff.
There's even a Litleo hunt going on today! Catch one, win a prize!
With all that alone, you could probably keep busy for most of the day! But surely you aren't forgetting the Big Act?
Yep, the big acts in the Big Top. Times are posted both at the front gate, on fliers you can pick up here and there, and by the entrance to the large tent. For each day, there will be three shows! Better hope you can snag a ticket before they get sold out... Although maybe you'll get lucky for the next show. Or the next day....
Either way, it promises to be a fun weekend!

But he came here because he was invited, and he hasn't seen the one who invited him yet!
It's probably Angel who leads him to the Staff Room-- the door creaks open and Wrath's head, along with several brightly-colored Pokemon ones, poke in. AND GRIN.
About five seconds later Joker, awake or not, will find himself leaped upon by one (1) wild child in a little purple suit (the tie is backwards), a short-legged Vaporeon, a sparkly green Deino, and a gooey pink blob. GOOD MORNING STARSHINE, THE EARTH SAYS HELLO!
"JOKER JOKER JOKER!"

Bad news: He is now covered by a wild child, a Vaporeon, a Deino, a Ditto, and the Walrein and Glaceon responsible for keeping him on the floor to begin with.
At least he deals with it well, laughing as Wrath barrels into him. He raises his hand up to bury it in that mess of black hair. "Look who appeared! Been havin' fun?"

Wrath laughs, incredibly pleased with himself. The Deino is ferociously wrestling with one of Joker's pant-legs but she's fortunately too low-leveled to do any actual damage.
"Yeah! Everything's so bright and noisy and colorful! I've never seen anything like it!"

"Told ya so, didn't I?" Joker laughs again. "I ain't a liar. Ya saw the show, didn't ya?"

Your foot is now the property of this fuzzy dinosaur.
"I sure did!"
Now that the tackling has officially occurred, Wrath sits up from his spot on top of the Poke-pile and beams.
"It was AMAZING! I even saw YOU! But that wasn't actually you out there, was it? I bet it was n'vidya!"

With Wrath's weight no longer pressed into him, Joker struggles up to rest himself on his elbow and chuckles at the observation.
"And what makes ya think that, eh?"

"Well, you stood on your toes a lot, and sometimes when people in the audience whistled instead of cheered, you winced like it hurt your ears! And Pokemon stand different and have MUCH better ears than we do, right Joker? It was Invidya, wasn't it? I'm right, aren't I!"

"Invidia mighta done a few things, that's right. So when ya see 'im next, be sure ta let him know he did a good job, alright?"

"Nah, that was Angel. Lessee... It was Angel that came with me, then we ran inta Rogue not too far outta Cherrygrove. Lightnin' came after, and then we hatched Ruby and Invidia together. Our Princess Guls came much later- y'know, the big gooey one."
