♘ ALPH RUINS EVENT ; one step at a time

Who: Everyone attending the Alph Ruins trip!

Summary: The Professor has organized a travel group to head down to the Alph Ruins. What will they discover in the chambers and what kind of mess will they get into this time? [ People can still sign-up for it lately by commenting over here ]

The Alph Ruins is a strange place. It has that mysterious aura around it all and those scientists in their white coats gives off an uncomfortable atmosphere, going on about trying to find out the truth over and over again. The background music that plays faintly doesn't help much either.

The natural Pokemon that live here, the Smergles and Natus, watches from afar, staring at these new intruders that have entered their homes. It feels like there is something else though- something else watching on everyone...

But these ruins hold a mystery and maybe even a solution to get back home.

It's only best to deal with all this as best as possible.

For all three days and two nights there.

When you tag, you can determine the time of the day so it can just be spooky exploring at night or whenever. Any questions can be directed to the `QUESTIONS` thread over at the ooc sign-up entry!

Everyone on this trip is supplied with a flashlight of their own and a small health kit for both their Pokemon and themselves! Remember, if you try to use your radio here, you will only get this.

[ With the help of the Professor's Alazkazm and Dusknoir, two long white tables have been set up outside the ruins.

One of these tables is where all the cooks (Hershel Layton, Bakura Ryou, Brave, Death, Vanille, Cruz Schild, Fuji Shuusuk, Gemini Sunris, Fai D. Flowright, Junpei, Claire Folly, and Sebastian Michaelis) are preparing food for everyone.

On the other table has meals and all sorts of food already made for anyone to eat! Though some of that food doesn't look very safe especially the ones that Fuji has made...it looks strangely red. Probably from all the spices he has had added in them...

Well, stuff yourselves in, help with the cooking, stare in amazement, whatever! It's time for a cookout! ]

[ Look all over the place and travel in the grass! You might find a Natu or Smergle to capture, or maybe you can try to talk to those scientists but you won't get much of an answer from them... ]

[ It's a spacious room with strange writings are all over the walls, but none of it seems to make any sense at all. Statues of Pokemon that have never been seen before litters the whole room and only during the daytime is there light to look around without a flashlight.

Despite there not being a single soul in the ruins, it almost feels like something like be around... just watching... Maybe you'll even catch a very short glimpse of the Unown that was staring or maybe it was your imagination... After all, the second you try to look at it directly, it's no longer there. ]

[ Despite the spooky look of the ruins and the strange music playing, there's still two beautiful lakes to look at. There's a cool breeze by and the water looks nice enough to swim in! ]

[ At night, there's a large campfire everyone can huddle around. The stars look bright out and the Professor has made sure to buy enough marshmallows for everyone! Mmmmm, s'mores... ]

[ A puzzle stands lonesome in the middle of the room with nothing else around. To complete this puzzle, all the pieces must be placed in the correct locations like a jigsaw.

After it is solved, the floor beneath you will suddenly cave in and you will find yourself in a completely pitch-black room. If your flashlight hasn't been broken from the fall, you may see that there are strange writings on the wall; each letter written as an Unown. If you can manage to figure out what it says, it should translate to;

`Our words shall remain here for the ages`

To escape this room, there is a ladder to the very edge of the small chamber, but look around first. You can find some interesting items around here if you shuffle among the floor such as an oran berry, pecha berry, energy powder, and heal powder. ]

[ A puzzle stands lonesome in the middle of the room with nothing else around. To complete this puzzle, all the pieces must be placed in the correct locations like a jigsaw.

After it is solved, the floor beneath you will suddenly cave in and you will find yourself in a completely pitch-black room. If your flashlight hasn't been broken from the fall, you may see that there are strange writings on the wall; each letter written as an Unown. If you can manage to figure out what it says, it should translate to;

`Thus we shall erect a Pokémon statue outside`

To escape this room, there is a ladder to the very edge of the small chamber, but look around first. You can find some interesting items around here if you shuffle among the floor such as a heal powder, energy root, moon stone, and a sitrus berry. ]

[ A puzzle stands lonesome in the middle of the room with nothing else around. To complete this puzzle, all the pieces must be placed in the correct locations like a jigsaw.

After it is solved, the floor beneath you will suddenly cave in and you will find yourself in a completely pitch-black room. If your flashlight hasn't been broken from the fall, you may see that there are strange writings on the wall; each letter written as an Unown. If you can manage to figure out what it says, it should translate to;

`They possess great insight and refuse the outside world`

To escape this room, there is a ladder to the very edge of the small chamber, but look around first. You can find some interesting items around here if you shuffle among the floor such as a stardust, star piece, mystic water, and a leppa berry. ]

[ A puzzle stands lonesome in the middle of the room with nothing else around. To complete this puzzle, all the pieces must be placed in the correct locations like a jigsaw.

After it is solved, the floor beneath you will suddenly cave in and you will find yourself in a completely pitch-black room. If your flashlight hasn't been broken from the fall, you may see that there are strange writings on the wall; each letter written as an Unown. If you can manage to figure out what it says, it should translate to;

`We humans must learn to walk in harmony with them. We depart for their sakes`

To escape this room, there is a ladder to the very edge of the small chamber, but look around first. You can find some interesting items around here if you shuffle among the floor such as a revival herb, charcoal, leppa berry, and a life orb. ]

[It's a giant sliding puzzle. Luke's too preoccupied with the puzzle to pay attention what else might be in the room right now.]

[Don't mind Hiro, he's just hunting some Pokemon. Natu and Smeargle both ping him quite a bit, so he's sifting through the tall grass very determined-like.]

Come out come out wherever you are...

[Right now, Hiro's just poking at the puzzle. He's good at them, don't get him wrong, but he's also paying attention to what's going on around him... so he's going rather slowly. Feel free to tell him to hurry it up so you get a turn.]

I wonder how long this has been here.

... You guys really went all out.

[Noting all of the food appreciatively, but not touching any just yet.]

[ The Professor kneels down in front of the puzzle, looking over it and attempting to solve it. He picks up the pieces and holds them in his hands, trying to think about where they go before actually placing them down. He already have half of the puzzle solved though he does mumble to himself. ]

Is this a Pokemon carving? It looks similar to those....

[Luke is hanging around the lake, eager to go swimming. He bends down so that the Spheal in his arms can jump into the water.]

You probably missed this, huh?

[If the eerie music, gloomy statues, and mysterious writings all over the place aren't making you feel at home yet, then the splattered red that just might be blood all over a corner of the room might do the trick. There certainly is a lot of it, too, so much so that Hiro here seems to be transfixed by it, squatting down with his hand resting in where a pool of it certainly was before it dried up.]

[Who in their right mind would just wander about ancient ruins like a child on sugar touching everything?]

[No one. That's why the Doctor's doing it.]

Excellent travel party. Best exploring's done with friends, isn't it?

Even better when delicious food's involved.

[He picked up one of the Fuji-made edibles and took a bite, showing absolutely no ill effects--this may be the only person around that would eat what a lethal chef would make.]

Do you know what Pokemon species that is called, Luke? I haven't had the chance to ask before.

[[Somehow found himself a yellow apron and tied his hair back with a string and has been happily cooking up a storm. He's even managed to make onigiri that look like pokeballs. Just because]]

[ Oh, it's that boy! The Professor turns his head to look over. ]

Yes, it reminds me of those skeletal creatures from the Halloween incident. They bare a very close resemblance to each other.

Halloween incident...? Sorry, I wasn't here during that. Could you tell me what happened?
