In response to that, he makes a small humming sound before setting the mango carton down, tapping his spoon a little against the rim as if thinking. That does sound pretty good, and he shoots her a look.

In many ways he feels many years younger right now, and it's far from a bad feeling. Moreover, it's something he's going to allow himself.
