Summary: It's the day of the Ponyta and Rapidash races!
Rating: Shouldn't get higher than PG, I'd think.

Louise had to smile at the turn-out for the races he'd set up. Despite anything negative that might have happened, he was pleased with these results. The money would be very beneficial to them here. Not only that but he simply loved to win and come out on top. Obviously he'd succeeded admirably in that venture.

The weather was chilly but he hardly cared about that at the moment. He wanted to see the races play out, see how people reacted to them.

Everything was perfect in his eyes.

[Tot and her Rapidash, Akihiko, are walking around the park looking at everything and talking to anyone that wants to while waiting for the race to start.]

[Louise will just walk on over to her with a smile on his face. He has his own Rapidash walking beside him.]

Ah Tot. I'm pleased you could make it.

[She remembers him from the Pokegear so she smiles back as he approaches.]

His name is Akihiko and he was a present from someone very special.

Akihiko. It suits him. [Louise gets a fond look on his face.]

[She looks up to the Rapidash in question. He doesn't seem to mind as he turns his head toward Louise.]

[He keeps the touch gentle as he strokes his nose, still smiling the entire time. If there's one thing he loves more than almost anything, it's horses.]

I think he will do well today.

Mamoru said he was really fast when he gave him to Tot, but if he has fun that will be good enough.

Mamoru did? So he trained this one?

Yes and partially; he belonged to someone else first. But he trained one of Akihiko's children and they're supposed to be here today also.

Mm. I'm aware. Though, I have to admit that I wasn't aware that his Rapidash was one of Akihiko's children.

Uhuh that's one of the reasons Tot came to the race, so they can see each other. And so Tot can see Mamoru again.

[Mamoru's been watching for her. Although he's still a bit nervous about seeing her again after everything he told her, they had agreed together. He nods to her in greeting and approaches with Shalena walking beside him.

Shalena, though cautious around strangers, takes the lead ahead of Mamoru and trots to Akihiko for a nuzzle.]

[Mamoru is some combination of surprised, sheepish, and quietly pleased as he approaches the winners' area.]

It tells me that the lineage is strong and gets stronger with each child. It's a very good sign with horses.

Breeding and raising horses is something my family is known for. I suppose you could call them a passion of mine.
