[Needless to say, New Years Eve was the party night, and it was always a night America NEVER failed to have a party. He didn't really care all that much if people didn't want one either. Goldenrod especially was getting all decorated for the night, with tables pulled together outside with alcohol boxed up. It's requested people bring their own too, as he isn't rich yet but he's put some money into this. There are streamers everywhere too.

Actually, there would have been a mini announcement a few days ago, asking people in other areas to set up a party too, so this isn't only a Goldenrod thing.

In other words, prepare for the BIGGEST PARTY EVER.

America, himself, will be in the middle of it all, with a megaphone and yelling at the top of his lungs to get everyone to join in. There's no way no one will have heard about this.

[For most of the afternoon on and off America has been yelling out through his megaphone to get everyone's attention for the upcoming party. He's been loud and obnoxious, so people may be annoyed or amused or whatever.

Right now? He's currently singing into the microphone about the party. Yes, he's getting creative now, but it's pretty obvious he's VERY EXCITED.

While Christmas had passed him with little more than indifference (and light surprise at the fact he had been bought gifts by so many people) THIS was a holiday he could celebrate. The only one actually for the last twenty years, so when it came around the Russian always did manage to find himself in the spirit of it, regardless of situation.

This year was no different.

He was pleasantly surprised at the amount of work Alfred seemed to have given to Goldenrod for the celebrations, the buildings decorated and areas already set up for the festivities. He'd bought a bottle himself, as per request from the blonde, noting the already vast array, the soviet wondering for a moment just how much of this Alfred had purchased on his own before moving to talk to the man in question, moving toward the younger nation who was now singing down the microphone like this was a bad karaoke.

"Alfred." He kept his words quiet for the moment, clearing his throat before raising his voice "ALFRED."

He knew Alfred had a habit of not paying attention to... Most things, so he was fully in the belief that if the other man hadn't heard him the second time, he was getting a rather hefty shove. It usually worked, at least when he and Alfred had to be civil back home.

Well, New Year was widely celebrated, there was only places like China where they had their own calendar as well that it came second really. It was shared by everyone, rather than been taken from religions that didn't unite people in quite the same way. It was partly why Alfred had... done so much for his first New Year in Johto.

"Oh, hey, you made it!" Well, never mind that he might not have, that wasn't the point. He was just pretty buzzed on excitement and alcohol already.

He'd purchased enough of it, anyway. A lot had been borrowed or made for the event.
