Isaac didn't reply to any of that, frowning at the lake instead. He had no idea how he would have dealt with something like that. It must have been difficult for Kimblee to respond to that immediately, but at least things had sort of worked out at first...?

"Yeah. There's nothing that can be done about it now. A little time away should do you both some good."

He nodded and turned back to Kimblee. "Well, you don't need to worry about it right now. Eventually you'll have to confront it, but until then, you might as well enjoy yourself."
