Smiling, Kanade watches the two of them go, still hugging the frightened Hoppip to her chest. Then, with a shrug, she lowers her head and trudges back through the storm: better get this little guy to the safety of a roof above his (or her? how the hell was anyone supposed to tell?) head.
"See?" she asked him/her quietly, providing a shelter from the storm with her arms and head. "Everything works out if you don't give up. Somebody'll come along who can't leave ya alone."
Hoppip just nestled close as the wind pounded down, but Kanade didn't let the storm disturb her. Bed, some food, and everything'd be okay.
