[ Maria woke up.. well, a little differently today. Or rather, she almost jumped up from her bed. Somehow she was just feeling that much more energetic, and the source from the electricity was easily found the moment she picked up her Pokégear and it started working without her even having to turn it on.. Clearly this is magic, right? The magic is coming back to Johto, Maria's sure of it-- and she quickly has to celebrate that or at the very least tell others!

And so Lion might find Maria running into Lion's bedroom. She seems rather enthusiastic, and it's almost as if there's electricity crackling around her a little - yes, she's static, please don't touch or you'll be awake for sure.. Her eyes are a bright gold (near yellow) as well instead of their usual color and yellow stripes are running along her arms up to her shoulders, even if the latter aren't very visible since she's still wearing her pyjamas..

But she's giggling, as if she doesn't mind or notice any of it. ]

Uu-..! Lion, good morning, good morning! Look what happened while we were sleeping..!

[It had been a normal morning so far. Waking up, doing the morning accounting for the tea house, checking on all the pokémon... So when an ecstatic (oh and static) Maria came in, she found Lion fixing up a bunch of papers.

Lion loves Johto. Really.

But sometimes, Lion wishes it were possible to murder a place.

Right now it's one of those moments.]

Good morning, Maria...

[Don't panic. Pretend everything is all right.]

[ What's wrong, Lion, Maria doesn't see the problem here.. in fact, she's still laughing even now. ]

Look, don't you see? [ she means the electricity crackling around her, but to show she picks up Lion's Pokégear (assuming it's on the table or something here, okay..) and it instantly turns on. ] Isn't it great?! Maria has magic here again, real magic!

That... Looks a little different to the magic you had back home, doesn't it?

Yeah, it's different. [ Maria can at least understand that much, magic is her speciality, after all. ]

Maria could never use magic to make lightning or electricity before, so Johto gave Maria a different kind of magic! It's a little strange, but it must mean there's less anti-magic toxin, uu-.

I wouldn't be surprised... Many people have started believing a bit more in magic since arriving here, right?

Just remember that since this magic is new for you, you should be really careful and learn to control it as well as you used to control your magic back home, all right?

It's true, Maria's told a lot of people about magic..! It's all because of Maria's effort that the magic is coming back! [ she excitedly forms fists with her hands, slight sparks of electricity dancing in the air above them. ] But.. don't worry, Lion! Maria's really good at magic, so of course she won't do anything bad..!

She'll just do her best to learn this new magic, kyakyakya!

I'm sure you will, but I think you should be very very careful around electric appliances for a while.

I don't know much about magic, but I remember that the best magic is the magic you use to make people happy, right?
