Are you ready for a citywide dance floor.
Who: Anyone in Goldenrod city
Where: All of Goldenrod city
When: July 18 to 23
Summary: Things have been looking kind of grim as of late. Souji and Killua find a way to lighten the mood. Their plan start a giant rave spanning the entire city. That's definitely what the city needs.

Over the last few days since the center untimely destruction, the people of Goldenrod had been acting weird, stranger than usual. There seemed to be some sort of pent-up excitement instead of outright panic. People were walking the streets with flushed faces or insane little grins. Some had taken to wearing more colorful clothing or odd little accessories. With the newfound powers, things got even crazier; people putting on random light shows, shooting sparks at a random passerbys, just generally causing chaos.
Water and Flying type Pokemon became a scarce sight, with all the electricity running through the city. Wild Pokemon started to attack any humans with powers, finding the humans almost no different from themselves now. Even some trainers’ own team were attacking them, it was a mess.
This was effecting the mood of the entire city and not in a good way. Two in particular had come together to help the city bring up its moral and quite a few of the locals were quite happy to help them out. At 2 am on Wednesday, Souji, Killua, and their little army took to the streets and slowly began decorating the city. By morning, the city is had gotten a little makeover that wouldn’t be noticed until night fell.
During the day, Goldenrod seemed like a ghost town. There were hardly any locals around and even the department store and game center was closed for the afternoon. Some of citizens were simply sleeping while the others seemed to be waiting for something.
As night has fallen, the city’s power has seemed to have gone out. The radio has suddenly stopped playing but after a few minutes, Dj Mary could be heard, or at least someone that sounded like her...
“This is lovely Dj LilMiss Silver here to bring a silver lining to the dark cloud brought over to the our fair city Goldenrod and the rest of the world, with the centers bashed to bit and people on crazy power trips.
It’s time to heal your minds and bodies. It’s time for a citywide Goldenrod party! No matter where you go in the city, you’ll never escape the music; underground, overground, everywhere the beat can reach.
While I’ll love~ to take the cred for this, the real masterminds are two of our special guests; The Platinum Eggsecutive, the biggest player of the fabulous breeding center and The Raging Candivore, a bratty punk that owns fighting studio. Thanks to them, once I flip this little switch, the city will come alive, reborn and ready for this musical revolution.
I could make you wait a little longer but I think you’ve waited long enough~”
Mary flips on the switch and suddenly, the city is covered in bright neon lights and glow in the dark signs. People swarm the streets in bright colorful outs; some cool, crazy or just plain weird.
That music she’s mentioned is not ordinary stuff you’ll normally hear. Remixes and dance music can be heard everywhere, and the department store is open once again, where you can get all of your raving needs. The Game Corner is also open, perfect for the rave with its brightly lit slot machines and lights. Don’t worry you’ll never run out of room to dance if the streets are full you can take it to the rooftops.
Goldenrod, welcome to the rave.
(( ooc: All of Goldenrod City has been turned into one giant party with bright lights all around! It’ll be rather hard for your character(s) to sleep through all this nonsense, but it’ll be a blast for those attending it. This is happening in more than just this log if you want to make a post that is fine. This rave ends on the 23th. So there is more than enough time for characters to party. This is a free for all since there are so many places you can be in goldenrod. So there will be no category threads. Just make your own thread and tell people where your character is in the subject line. ))
(( For the ones with Electric type powers, they’ll be having a little extra charge in all this. It may lead to extra excitement and hyperactiveness. On extreme cases, your character might find themselves a little drunk on it all. For those non-Electric types? There’s some cheap beer with the refreshments to get yourself drunk as well. Your character must be 18+ for it, but it’s rather easy to sneak a drink and/or grab one when no one is paying attention. Plus, maybe that fruit punch bowl is spiked, who knows.))
(( General ic rules are just basic things; don’t destroy city property, don’t be a dick, don’t climb onto any rooftops other than the department store’s or any other official places in the city, and your character should be fine. ))
