[He's looking better these days, and that's a relief. There's still no telling what caused the outbreak or how its victims fell prey to it (and perhaps the most nagging question of all — why so many people around her succumbed to it when she remained perfectly fine in their midst), and so there was really no way of anticipating how long it would take the changes to fade, if they ever did at all. But she's been paying attention, and everyone she's seen seems to be recovering with no lasting damage done. That's something to be thankful for, too.
