He climbs in after her, giggling a little to himself with an under the breath comment of "Don't rock the boat." Instead of sitting down opposite Rose, however, he picks up the oar from the bottom of the boat and moves to the back of the gondola. There, he bends down a little, resting a hand on the rope keeping the little boat docked.
