[Is it weird of him to be doing this? Maybe. It isn't every day that Bro waits around at a dock for a boat to arrive carrying someone he hardly knows. Especially when waiting for said person means that he's had to delay his travels a little. It takes a... special kind of person to delay Bro when he really wants something. Especially when that something is gym badges. He's been anxious to get gym badges ever since he's arrived here. Not having any just makes him feel like a loser.
But he figured why the hell not. It's really not every day that he meets someone like Valeria. It's not every day he meets someone who can put up with his personality so well- not that he minds, really. He's used to people just not getting him, and while it's highly likely she doesn't get him, she at least hasn't pushed him away. Even from the few conversations they've had, he knows the two of them get along really well. She puts up with him and doesn't mind his sense of humour and occasional trolling.
So that alone makes her worth his time. Which is why he's here, at ass o'clock in the morning, waiting for the ferry. Bro is not a morning person at all, either, so this whole endeavor is even more significant. Smuppet the Shuppet is floating around lazily, occasionally annoying the dock workers, while Bro stands there looking sleepy. He's pretty excited though, despite that. He just wishes the damn boat would get there faster.]
