I can't exactly begrudge you wanting to do the same thing. Plus, it gives Rainbow a bit of time to train against the Pokemon around Saffron and Celadon, which I think are a bit closer to her levels than the ones past Ecruteak.

[She doesn't bother putting in her two cents about Fluttershy. Sure, she had once told Twilight that she wanted to train harder, herself, but as far as Twilight knew she hasn't put all that much emphasis on it since their first outing... probably because she's still afraid of getting them hurt.
