It was a smart move on his part, one that Kay would have appreciated if she even knew what he'd stopped himself from saying. She liked her teasing just fine, and could tolerate it from anybody else, but this wasn't really the time to do it. It felt like it, anyway, though she wasn't one to read the mood all that often in the first place.
After Johan had finished speaking, she studied him thoughtfully. Now that sounded like a conclusive ending, one that typically ended with a firm handshake or... something. It was polite, but she could tell it was truthful-- or, at the very least, it had truthful parts. Well, she could do that, too.
"Thanks for volunteering." She thought about being dramatic, but even Kay couldn't hide the affection that colored her tone. "You made it a great first date, Johan."
