When his feet touch the ground he skids for several feet before coming to a halt, thoroughly winded and using his good arm to support his body above the ground while he tries to avoid emptying his stomach and to regain his breath at the same time. That's going to really be sore later, not to mention he's dizzy and rattled from the hit.
