"Oh, I understand completely," said Kayneth-admittedly somewhat distantly, as he was mulling over what could be done with this feather in the state everyone was presently in. "I would like to give its habitat a look myself, when I have the opportunity... of course, given my current pace, that would be quite some time from now."

That, and he didn't fancy the idea of going it alone... though he certainly would if necessary.

"Well, perhaps if there's another incident where our powers are returned to us, I'll be able to give it a closer look."

...then, thinking back to his other experiences with legendary beings, he smiled (though with a hint of bitterness).

"Who knows, perhaps if you still have it on you by then we may be able to summon it?"
