(Closed; Backdated to mid-July)
Who: Madoka Kaname & Sayaka Miki
Where: Cerulean City
When: July 18th
Summary: Two childhood friends celebrates a hard-fought victory at a restaurant.
Rating: G/PG with fluffiness
Log:
Sayaka felt like a true hero, even if her actual win involved just one Pokemon...it was still a win which culminated in her 2nd badge! And as she promised Madoka a few days earlier, they would celebrate the victory at a restaurant! Of course they had to go to the northern-most part of the city, and it was pretty cheap as had been advertised but did that really matter to her?
Not really, since all she was concerned with was enjoying the time with Madoka! (She did allow her friend to buy her a parfait, and she did ask for Pokemon gummies to go along with it -she received a small assortment of Pikachu, Eevee and Piplup- which she loved a lot! But now, it was time for their much-awaited meal at the restaurant.
Sayaka was somewhat nervous but hid it behind her usual confident expression. She hadn't been alone with Madoka like this since a certain prom months ago. "We're here! I didn't think we'd find it, but...I guess I got some good intel."

And they really had pokemon gummies and other things for parfaits here. Madoka had thought they might, but her suggestion for asking them had still been a little random and out of nowhere. But the gummies had been so cute, she'd have to make many, many illustrations of them into her sketchbooks, and she still almost felt bad for eating them. Well, her pokemon would have eaten them if she had not... It had been a fun day so far, and it would get only better, right?
Madoka was seemingly nervous, but happy at the same time. Maybe it was going to be like the times when she, Mami-san and Sayaka-chan sat in the Department Store's cafe? Right, she had spent time with her friends in these places before. They just hadn't gone to real restaurants either, just into some hanging out places.
Now? Madoka even dressed up a bit for this. Her hair was in a ponytail instead of her normal pigtails and she was wearing a cute dress. Nothing too flashy, but still a little something different to celebrate. "Ehehe, I'm glad we found and I'm sure I wouldn't have found it all by myself. We should make this a real tradition, celebrating in some great way every time we win badges."
...Though Madoka may have a long way to go before she starts gym battling, but well, it's always good to have plans for the future?

And so far, she hadn't wasted it at all. The first part of the day had come and went, and she had definitely enjoyed the parfait and the gummies but now...Sayaka took a breath and smiled reassuringly at Madoka. She herself had gone for a sky-blue dress, one that would match her hair. With it being so short, she couldn't do much to her own hair.
"Hehe, we should! Of course, if I'm gonna buy my lovely wife a parfait or two, you'll have to challenge these Gym Leaders and win their badges...even if that means we trek back to Pewter and you fight Brocko while I cheer you on!"
She took Madoka's hand in her own and squeezed it gently before requesting "Reservation for Miki." and being led to a two-seat booth.

No, really, she just needed to think that she was ready for it. Her pokemon were for anything, or at least they were ready to do anything for Madoka -- how did she always find people and animals, who thought that?
She smiled at them holding hands, squeezing Sayaka's hand into her own gently. Ohhh, with the reserve and all this felt even more like something older people did. Madoka was blushing all the way to their table, acting a little unsure before she sat down... Then she smiled at her friend. "Thank you, for bringing us here, Sayaka-chan." Now, what was she going to get from that menu~? Decisions time, huh?

She happily swung their hands back and forth, grinning confidently at Madoka before allowing her to sit first, moving to sit across from her...and her grin softening into a gentle, embarrassed smile. "...A-anytime, Madoka! You're my best friend and my wife, and you deserve the best." Ooh, there were some good choices...she does recall the list of beverages, or at least a certain one she could choose...
"Hey, Madoka...wanna share a melon soda? I hear they're supposed to be the best ever~!"
