[ Aradia is out and socializing, her very party-appropriate Gengar in tow. It's nowhere near Halloween any longer, but rather than dressing up for her birthday, Aradia seems to...well, have dressed up for Halloween? She has a ghost-print sweater paired with a plain black skirt and neon-orange tights with candy corn print, so it is SAFE TO SAY she misses Halloween, possibly. There are even dangly spider earrings.

...Well, whatever, she looks reasonably happy so may as well let it go. Roxy apparently found her at some point, or Aradia otherwise submitted willingly to the party hat code, because she also has a sparkly orange party hat.

She'll happily approach whoever and chat about whatever, although she spends a fair amount of time near the snack table and/or speaking with Indy the Gengar. Or, uh, trying to convince him to stop trying to scare the party guests as they arrive. ]

All I'm saying is that you ought to wait until they're inside. A party's no good if you scare off all the guests. Scaring them into different rooms works, though.

[ Although to be honest most of the Homestuck guests are rather immune, so why she's bothering is anyone's guess... ]
enjoymyatelier: it totally was. (that wasn't awkward at all nope)

[...Kayneth, honestly, feels extremely out of place at the moment. The decor... well, between the Christmas decorations and Aradia being... Aradia, they weren't entirely unexpected.

He could deal with that, anyway, in mixed company... the problem was that, at present, he seemed to be the only adult at a birthday party for a teenager, so he was currently standing somewhere... acceptably off to the side and wondered how much he looked like a chaperone of some sort.

...honestly, in this context, "chaperone" is probably the best thing he could be mistaken for... well, he delivered presents and that is what counts. And he kind of knows some of these people, vaguely...]
