"I was your fodder for the Stone in Lior, similar to the Elric boy in Laboratory 5." Lust's not-so-subtle involvement at those critical moments convinces him of that, though he's not about to bring her up.
"Then was my death also orchestrated?" His voice remains quiet, but dangerous, and he doesn't break eye contact with Envy. In retrospect, none of this is a really a surprise. But it's all leading up to something far bigger than Lior.
