Summary: Kaito wants Eevee eggs and none of these boys are breeders. Shenanigans occur! (I wrote the beginning in action brackets but prose is perfectly fine with me too :|b)

Log: [Kaito was grateful that it wasn't too difficult to find two Eevee owners (well, technically Espeon and Vaporeon owners) who were willing to help him out on his search for Eevee eggs. Not only did he want to secure one for himself (Umbreons really were cool), but after the past week and the widespread, frantic search for Kay, he figured it wouldn't hurt to get her one as well. Almost like a 'congratulations on surviving your kidnapping' gift. She might have been acting cheerful on the outside, but Kaito was too familiar with his own poker face to know better. It wouldn't hurt to do something that might actually, genuinely make her feel better, especially after everything she had gone through.

He had the ability to be thoughtful when he wanted to be... sometimes.

The magician had decided to wait outside the Pokemon Center for Rua and Ventus to arrive. He knew that neither he, nor Rua, nor Ven were breeders, so he didn't want to traverse far (even if it was as easy as leaving the two creatures by themselves for a while). This way... they could at least ask the Pokemon Center nurse for advice, if they needed it.

So when the other two boys arrived, they'd find Kaito leaning against the wall near the door to the Center, a deck of cards being shuffled diligently between his fingers as he waited]

[Rua hummed a piece of music he heard often around the city, but he assumed it always came from a speaker. It was catchy after all. And even if daily training was fun, he liked variety. Plus he was curious about this breeding thing, he just assumed Pokemon came from eggs, not in any way involving other 'mons. It sounded cool, getting a Pokemon without having to catch it!

He needed to heal his pokemon anyways after battling three trainers in a row. So seeing Kaito nearby made him remember what he said across the network as he walked up by him]

Hey, you're that guy who wanted an Eevee!

[Ven had of course wasted no time in asking the resident Nurse Joy what must have been Question #304 by this point, so he ended up oblivious to the fact that the other boys were already waiting.

When he stepped out the door of course, he noticed Kaito right away. He knew the other boy's face by now, so he halted where he was]

Kaito, right?

[Kaito had lifted his head to greet Rua when Ven stepped out of the Pokemon Center right before he could. After a few blinks, his gaze flickering between the two, he grinned and nodded]

Yeah, you're right! To both of you. [he lifted a hand in a mock salute greeting] Kaito Kuroba, the guy searching for an Eevee egg, at your service!

I'm Rua. [He gave a genuine smile and waved] So have you found a Breeder yet?

And my name's Ven, nice to meet you guys.

[His turn to wave]

[a nod to both of them, indicating he was glad to meet them as well]

Not exactly, but I got some advice from some. Apparently the whole breeding thing is pretty easy.

[Rua folded his arms over, nodding back]

So you mean... its possible to do by ourselves?

Sounded pretty basic when I asked Nurse Joy, too.

[When in doubt, ask the lady in pink]

All it takes is leaving them alone for a while. [... and letting them do whatever it is they do when they're alone, but he'll refrain on commenting on that]

Er... you guys sure there's no way I can pay you back for this?
