[A familiar face for some can be found seated on a bench somewhere near the outskirts of a town in Johto. Seated on the ground near his feet is an Electrike, the Pokemon appearing a bit anxious and concerned as he stares up at his trainer. To anyone just giving him a passing glance, this looks just like good old Jimmy Two-Shoes, the lovable, constantly over-excited kid who popped up just a few months ago.
The only problem is the fact that his Electrike should be a Manectric. ...Upon closer examination, nothing about Jimmy appears to be quite right.
He looks taller, for one. Taller and older, somehow. Lining one arm are many different friendship bracelets of all sizes and colors, some oddly stained with what could be mistaken for pink paint. He doesn't remember taking some of them out of his book and putting them on, but somehow they're there. On his belt are a few pokeballs already, but only three instead of his usual six. Around his neck hangs a very heavy looking chain with an ornate key affixed to it. His clothing is tattered a bit, and one of his pants legs is singed and eaten through at the bottom. Finally, a few bandages on the leg with the singed pants, his left arm, and neck show signs of old injuries that have been trying to heal. All of them yet again stained weirdly pink.
For a while before he found the bench, Jimmy spent some time rushing up and down the routes, yelling for familiar faces. Roxy, Madison, Heloise. Hinata, Sonia, Gundam. Nobody was answering.
Finally he took a seat to rest, dropping his head into his hands. The new Electrike had taken him by surprise, of course, but it didn't take long for him to notice there were more Pokemon around. Everywhere in fact. So that could mean that he had found himself in only one place, and he couldn't explain how or why. The excitement and confusion was overwhelming to the point that Jimmy just sat there, ignoring the Electrike whining and pawing at his leg.
For a horrible, terrible moment, he wondered if Lysandre would be here- but then he remembered. Of course not.]
