Who: Sora and Riku
Where: Celadon City
When: Christmas
Summary: Sora tries to give Riku a special Christmas gift with... mixed results.
Rating: PG at most. These kids are tame.

[When Riku walked into the kitchen, he expected the same old sights. A fairly clean counter, maybe some dishes sitting in the sink, but nothing spectacular.

Needless to say, his expectations were dashed the very moment he stepped in the door.

Cake frosting was splattered all over the counter top. Overly soggy noodles dangled out of a pan on the stove, dripping with water. Smoke seeped out the oven, and the air carried the distinct stench of something burned. A quick glance to the oven tray itself revealed blackened chunks of what he assumed was once bread.

And to top it all off, several of their towels had been scorched around the edges, all across the stove and floor.

At first, he just gaped at the sight, but now that he's had a few moments to soak it all in, his eyes are darting around the room, trying to find the culprit.

He doesn't have to look far before he spots Sora at the table with a great big pizza and... are those candles? Squinting, Riku moves further into the room and crosses his arms.]

[ Sora had a thought to be all romantic and cook. someone had told him it'd be a good idea and how hard could it be?

well the results of his arduous trials are all over the kitchen. things have been burnt. noodles destroyed. fires lit and only managed to be put out by Sora running in a panic and getting one of his teammates to take care of it.

so the thought came to him: order pizza and set up candles. that'd be romantic enough. for them, anyway.

Sora had intended to clean up before Riku gets home but... ]

[ totally a surprised squawk. like a kid with his hand caught in the cookie jar. ]
