Envy frowns when she starts following the chains, because they go straight to those Gate children and he's stuck right where he is. He knows she can take care of herself. Hell, she'd probably kick the things right off the cliff if they tried latching on.

But he doesn't know what they'll do, or what else is back there. He hates feeling like there's nothing he could do if something did happen. Nothing but watch.
