For everything you are to me and all you've been through...
Who: Elsa (
defyingfrigidity) and Anna (
loveisanopendoor)
Where: Olivine City
When: June 21st
Summary: Today is Anna's birthday! The first that she's been able to spend with Elsa since they were children, so obviously, Elsa needs to make it special!
Rating: G
Log:
[It was finally here! The day Elsa had been stressing about for weeks now was finally here! And boy, she sure was proud that she was able to mostly stop her stress from showing. As far as she knew, she hadn't made Anna suspicious, which was good. She knew she couldn't hide her wish to celebrate her sister's birthday, but she could hide what she was setting up...
So, humming softly, Elsa made her way to the small, secluded area of the beach she had told Anna to meet her at. Walking beside her, clearly amused by her unusual excitement, were Skadi and Frigga; the Aurorus was carrying a picnic basket in her mouth, and her Gardevoir was carrying a large, heavy-looking, brightly-wrapped present with great care. Elsa herself was carrying a similarly-wrapped, though much smaller present as well.
Checking the time on her gear, she noted she still had some time left until Anna was supposed to arrive, so she took her time getting ready. She was anxious, yes, but she didn't want to rush...
It was all pretty simple. A green and purple picnic blanket she had found by chance was laid out, and placed on it was an array of (somewhat sloppily made, so obviously done by Elsa) sandwiches, ice-cold (thanks Skadi!) lemonade, and - of course - a few boxes of chocolate and fudge. A simple setup indeed. Elsa had wanted to do more, but without the resources she had access to back home, this was all she could pull off, really. But these were things that Anna liked, and that's what mattered today.
Once she finished setting the picnic up and placing Anna's gifts beside the spread, she unhooked the balls at her belt, releasing the rest of her team and immediately getting their attention.]
Okay... remember what I told all of you. Today is a very important day for Anna. We have to make sure she's happy all day, okay?
[Elsa smiles at the various cries of agreement, and turns towards the direction she came from, waiting for her sister to arrive.]
