Because for quite a long time after being shoved down into that basement, Wrath did nothing but howl and slam himself into the door repeatedly. Incidentally, it's not smart to try and bull down a door at the top of a bunch of basement stairs when you're a skinny eight-year-old.]

[It's pretty much solely because of this that Wrath isn't RIGHT AT THE DOOR waiting to try and force his way through when Envy ventures inside-- he's busy licking his wounds.]
