Korra was used to Asami getting up before her. She'd half-wake, and roll into the warm spot the other woman left, until she eventually pulled herself into a state close to fully awake. She really wasn't much of a morning person, and she assumed Asami had a million different things to do to herself when she got up anyway.
This morning, though...
She was sitting up and stumbling out of the bed before her brain even knew what was going on. And once it caught up, she still wasn't sure what was going on. Except the room smelled awful and Asami was already gone and wow did she feel itchy down her neck, shoulders and back...
"Asami? Are you okay?"
Horrible smell and rushing to the bathroom usually meant the answer to that question was 'no'. But Korra was still half-asleep and her attention was divided by the fact that she didn't feel quite right.
