It's a critical hit! Or well, normally it wouldn't be, but Murkrow tries to avoid getting set on fire, only to crash into what apparently is a wall underneath all the sparkles. Which is just...completely unacceptable. He'd wanted to throw something weak out in order to build false confidence, but that's a little too much. So he's going to have words with his Pokemon later (and possibly release it, who knows).
“Useless.I'll have to reprimand it later.”
Then his attention turns from being annoyed by his Pokemon's failure to just glaring at his opponent again. Apparently no one told Dio that if you keep making the same expression it might stay that way.
“But don't go celebrating yet. The next one won't be anywhere near as careless.”
He'll recall Murkrow, trying his best to look unfazed about what just happened, and next up is a level 61 Noivern. Is that overkill? Probably. Does he feel bad about it? Nope, not in the slightest.
“Air Slash!”
And since he doesn't feel bad, there's really no reason to not have it throw blades of air at that Houndoom, now is there?
