Peridot has about enough time to stop cackling triumphantly and make a strangled noise of horror just before her houndoom takes the full force of noivern's attack. It sends the poor pokemon reeling, skidding several feet backwards until it lands in a heap, KO'd.
"NNNrrrgh, WHY YOU--" She stomps her foot and recalls houndoom, scowling at her opponent. "Fine then! I won't hold back either!"
But who to send out next? She doesn't really have anything that can counter a dragon type....
Another pokeball, another flash. Amethyst the Rattata takes the field next.
"SUPER FANG! DO IT! DO IT DO IT!"
With blinding speed, the little rodent makes an incredible leap. Time almost seems to slow down, as through the swirling pink, a murderous purple blur launches through the air, fangs bared, aiming right for noivern's face.
