It is very cool. Almost as cold as melted snow, but he doesn't remember seeing any snow outside the windows. Unless it was cooled by magic somehow...? But anyone with those kinds of resources probably would be fairly wealthy, anyway.

But in any case, that beep is definitely a little startling, and he looks over in surprise. Though he's careful not to drop the glass or anything, of course.
