Kay moved a hand to place it in Johan's, and she was grinning even more than he was. Not that she wasn't embarrassed, but she wasn't hurt and if she couldn't laugh at herself, then she deserved to be laughed at by everybody else.

"No blackmail," she pleaded, laughing a little breathlessly. "If you need a laugh, I can come up with something else!"
