Aerith was following the group around like a kid following after a group of friends. She didn't know who Warrior of Light was, but he was in charge of taking care of Squall's pokemon there. Aerith wanted to check on Cyndaquil before lecturning Squall.

Seeing a man waving towards them, she glanced at the group and asked, "Is that him? The one who was looking at Cyndaquil and Gyradoes?"
