Envy looked at the two of them, surprised at how happy Tulio looked with this guy. He should've figured that the grouchy man could actually be happy, but seeing it was still pretty weird. He did feel a growing stab of familiar jealousy though. A few days ago he wouldn't have cared, but Tulio'd actually stayed with him when he was sick and incapacitated, even though he didn't much like him and had clearly much rather have been on the move to get to Violet and this other guy. It wasn't exactly something that many people had done. Or any people really. He didn't want to give up just yet, like he had other times.
