Roxas goes Exploring!

Who: Roxas/[livejournal.com profile] seasalttwilight and You
Where: Cherrygrove City
When: Evening-ish.
Summary: Roxas arrives in Cherrygrove City. He goes exploring. He meets people. He learns about where he is.
I assumed that he was travelling with Kairi and Namine, so if either of you muns want to log here, you are welcome. Everyone else is welcome as well. Multiple threads are cool if you don't mind a bit of slowness from me.
Prose is preferred, but there is a possibility of action spam.
Rating: Probably no more than PG

Roxas could hardly believe that he'd been in this world for three days. It seemed like an eternity ago that he had been standing in that white room, preparing himself to go back to Sora. But he hadn't, and he was glad for it. Although, it was weird that Sora was here to, and that they were existing as separate beings. He wasn't sure what to think of that, and he decided he wouldn't, at least, until he met Sora. It didn't look like the guy in red was here, so that was a good thing. And it was nice to know that Namine was here. And Kairi.

He wandered the streets of Cherrygrove, Sparky, his pichu, trotting by his side. They'd managed to battle a bit along the way. Sparky had gained a level, and he'd caught another pokemon. It wasn't too hard, so Roxas figured he could get the hang of it. There was a faint tune running through Roxas's head, and he hummed along absently, trying to figure out if he knew it. It didn't sound familiar...

Rise hadn't been in the city for very long, and had decided to wait for Chie before she followed Konata's example and took her poor tired Pokemon to the Pokemon Center. But she'd been waiting for awhile, and her friend had yet to show up, so she patted Himiko's leaves reassuringly and set off in that direction.

But the sight of another trainer (or so she assumed, since the people who lived here didn't have their Pokemon out), Rise slowed and gave him a curious glance. Here was one she hadn't met before, but he somehow looked familiar...

"Hey!" she called out cheerfully, shifting the Oddish in her arms to free up a hand for a wave.

Himiko, never fond of strangers, leaned back a little into Rise's chest and only settled down when her trainer ruffled her leaves reassuringly. The polar opposite of the shy Oddish, the girl only grinned and reached for her own PokeGear to check out the adorable thing on his shoulder.

"Did you just get in, or have you been here for awhile?"

Far from appearing to be awkward, Rise only beamed. Sure, dealing with multitudes of people had very quickly gotten rid of most of her shyness once she'd started out as an idol, but she genuinely liked people and the possibility of making friends had never been one she'd taken lightly.

"That's right! There was a while big group of us, but I don't think all of us will be staying together after tonight." She paused, then laughed to herself, looking faintly embarrassed. "We're all just worn out from everything right now."

Oh.

Now she knew why he looked so familiar. She thought she'd seen him nearby when Himiko's Sweet Scent tactic had backfired, and Rise discreetly looked him over. He didn't look injured or scarred for life, which was always a promising sign.

"I know one of the members wanted to get going immediately, but I think I'm going to try and get a job here. Some others might do that, too, or stay for a little bit longer. So I might still be traveling with some of the group, just not all of them."

"I'm Rise!" She would have offered a hand, but Himiko didn't look as though she'd appreciate being shifted for that, so Rise had to settle for a nod of greeting. "As for finding a job, the easiest places are the Pokemon Center and the PokeMart. Both of them could always use more people."

"I was thinking about the PokeMart, just so I can see what people come in for the most, and-- hm?"

At the sudden noise, Himiko had squeaked and hunched down in her trainer's arms, while Rise's attention switched to the cute little black and yellow... mouse? She studied it, then glanced at Roxas. "So who's this cutie?"
