There were quite a few people milling around in the darkness, making various unsettled conversational attempts. Nobody wanted to be stuck upstairs in a pitch-black room all by themselves, after all.

And the poor staff members are just... running around like crazy trying to reassure everybody that they're doing everything they can and that hopefully the power will come back on soon.

... There also appears to be an enormous, intricate blanket fort being erected over there in the sitting area. Huh.
