Shadow wasn't the only one eyes widen but more shocked. Okay either Shadow is staling or he really doesn't have something to go against it. Before she could make up her mind, Onix is already throwing down it's long tail between the two.

Rouge quickly jumped out of the way and away from Shadow. She hoped he did the same at least. Rouge glared up at the snake-like rock, "You're really pissing my off!" The gloves are coming off, well not literally. Rouge pulls out her Pokéball and tosses it to the air.

"Go, Staryu!" Within a flash of light, Staryu is summon in the air. Rouge didn't waste time and shouts her first command. "Water Gun!" Just as said, Staryu sprays the Onix. The Onix, well, he's starting to back up.
