Her first reaction to Angela's 'help' was to reflexively raise a hand to slap the tail away-- but ... oh god, it was so cute. Heather could be pretty darn mean when she wanted to be, but she just couldn't bring herself to whack something with big gooey eyes like that.
So instead she just grimaced and sort of waved it off.
"Ugh, sorry-- no, I just-- I let him out of the ball and he ran off with my locket. I don't want him to eat it or something." She gestured grumpily at the Growlithe, who was now giving them a disappointed look. OMG Y U STOP CHASING ME? 8c
Heather wiped a smudge of dirt off of her face and glanced at her hand briefly before looking up to get a better look at the stranger for the first time. The poor guy looked pretty bewildered and really hadn't deserved to be snapped at.
