Shellder made a happy noise as Dratini nosed at him and he flicked his tongue out to lick her.

"It seems so. Although I'm not sure how anyone would enjoy to be...licked by him."

This was the first encounter Shellder had had with any 'domestically trained' pokemon. He had no idea how anything else would react to him.
