chocolate shenanigans!

Summary: While Mammon was recovering from her injuries, she taught herself how to make chocolate. Well, her sisters might need a bit of help making them too, so why not?

Mammon had gladly used the information on how to make chocolate for her benefit. After she received the recipe from Hayate, she started trying out making all kinds of chocolate with it. It wasn't as good as Sir Ronove's, but it was decent. She came up with good results and was willing to share... for a price.

She was standing in the kitchen with an apron because she was not going to get her clothes smeared with chocolate just in case her sisters caused... an accident. Nevertheless, she was prepared to teach her sisters the art of making chocolate! She was no expert, but it was better than poison chocolate, right?

"Those two are so late..." Mammon mumbled under her breath, as she was sitting on the kitchen counter.

[Lucifer needed to make chocolate for that fool she has as a boyfriend, so this was an important mission! There was no chance for her to ruin this! She made herself in the way to the kitchen, confident enough that she wouldn't screw it.]

[TWO WEEKS in prison wasn't good for a girl's sanity. especially not when it was the two weeks before Valentine's Day. Asmodeus didn't have any time to prepare chocolate for the people in Johto, so when Mammon offered to teach her and her sister to make chocolate, she quickly agreed.

it was much better than sitting around in a cell all day.

she arrived last at the kitchen (not on purpose), bursting through the doors with an enthusiastic skip to her step]

Finally! Wear those aprons and let's get started! We need to start with the basics though. You can't jump to the hard stuff.

[There were tons of ingredients behind Mammon, probably all bought by her. They were all stacked on kitchen tables.]

I'm going to give you the recipe and instructions, so you better listen carefully, okay~?

[With a small laugh, she put her apron in place and got ready to follow Mammon's orders.]

Good! [eeee it felt nice to order her sisters around.]

First, you have to wash and dry your hands thoroughly! Use soap and rinse it off completely. Then when you're done with that, place some water in the bottom of the double boiler or larger of the two pans. Heat the water on the stove top.

[With a small nod, Lucifer moved to wash her hands thoroughly as her sister said! Once that's taken care of, she follows the other part of the task without problem.

Place approximately 1/2 pound of the chocolate in the top of the double boiler or smaller of the two pots and place over the water that is heating.

[Mammon gets out two measuring cups and places them on the table.]

As the water simmering in the bottom pan begins to heat the top pan, the chocolate will begin to melt. Stir the chocolate until it is completely melted. Remove from the stove.

Don't burn yourselves.

[She nods again, using this new knowledge to start melting the chocolate. Sadly, she put less chocolate than Mammon said as an accident and now it's melting too fast.

Watch her fail, because the hot water with the hot chocolate is starting to be wild.]

Whaaaat?!

[... Asmo, on the other hand, is keeping her chocolate on the pot for too long and... burning it]

Mammon quickly gets out her Lapras and pretty much freezes the two pots and she runs over to turn off the heat.]

Luci-nee! Half a pound! Not a quarter!

Asmo! You need to keep a closer look at what you're cooking!

[She moves far away when she sees the Lapras.]

You left it on for too long! And you need to stir it every now and then so the bottom doesn't get stuck with chocolate for reuse.

Do it again. [She gives her sisters two new pots.]

[There she goes to put the exactly amount of chocolate as Mammon told her now!]

[B| SIGHING and putting her chocolate in her new pots, STIRRING CONSTANTLY THIS TIME so it doesn't burn]

Pour about half of the melted chocolate onto the marble slab or clean work surface.

[Mammon gives each sister a marble slab big enough to pour all of their chocolate in there.]

With one hand, move the melted chocolate around the work surface until it is no longer hot to the touch. Be careful when you're moving it around since it's still hot! Try not to get burned while you do it.

The chocolate should be the same temperature as your skin. When done correctly, this will give the chocolate a shiny finish when it solidifies.

Girls! It's not that hard! Why do you keep messing up?! It's just a simple piece of chocolate that's nothing special!

I was being serious now~ Clean up after you're done with making the chocolate you have right now.

Alright, guys. [She gets out stencils and gives them to each sister.] Make whatever shape you want it to be before the chocolate hardens!

[gives Mammon a look and flips one of her twin tails over her shoulder, before turning to the chocolate she didn't spill. it's a bit lumpy... and smells a little burnt, but not as bad as her last two batches]
