Spring Cleaning: the beast wakes;

Who: Suicune ([personal profile] legendarybeasts), Rocket operatives and bystanders in the area
Where: Route 7
When: May 8th, 8:30PM
Summary: Rockets capture Suicune.
Rating: PG-13
Log:

[It runs. The wind carries it, fog is its mantle, and the ground weeps dew at its passing. It has known only endless sleep for so long, and now, it has awakened to the scream of the grass and the clouds, knowing in its heart that the world's Order is not being kept. The Old One sleeps too, too deep, not watching, and then they all fell after it.

But then it heard whispers, up in its cold mountain hideaway where pure crystal water flows in trickling, shimmering rivulets. The water whispered to it, wake up wake up, I am hurt, and it did. Its brothers sleep still, their consciousness tickling at the back of its mind like a reassurance. It does not know what awaits, only that it must run, and seek, and destroy.]

[You know what's not cool? Fighting a legendary Pokémon with a Woobat. The poor thing's been taken out by an Ice Beam attack already and Wheatley is currently just carrying it. So... nothing out of the ordinary, really. He probably should have bought some Revives...]

[Anyway, he'll send out Alpha, his Arbok! It's more for personal protection than anything else since it's a very threatening level 26.]

What kind of Pokémon is this anyway?

Did you read the mission assignment, or did you just show up here?

[Despite her horrendously snide wording, however, GLaDOS doesn't seem angry; to the contrary, she's looking a little manic at the ongoing battle here. Number Three is out, the Rotom zipping around her shoulders as it always does; she hasn't bothered to level it at all, it's more of a pet than anything, but that isn't what she's fighting with, anyway. Rather, she has Deadly Neurotoxin out and actually facing down Suicune; everything succumbs to poison gas eventually, right?

...she hopes so, because that's what she's spamming. Poison Gas, that is. From her level 30 Koffing with the derpy smile and the horrendous aim.

...oh boy. Well, at least she seems to have come prepared to cheat a bit; have a Revive thrown at you, Wheatley - hopefully your lousy human reflexes are now good enough to catch.]

Take it.

[From her tone, that isn't a request. Come on, we are going to face down this...thing that might be god with our level 30 crap and we are going to be awesome. BECAUSE WE MAY BE PATHETICALLY UNDERLEVELED BUT WE ARE APERTURE SCIENCE EMPLOYEES, DAMN IT - WHEN LIFE GIVES US LEMONS, WE SOON END UP WITH LEMON SLUSH DUE TO USING THEM AS A DECOY! TO AVOID GETTING ICE BEAMED IN THE FACE!

...Suicune bb I am so sorry hopefully you will be faced by more competent things as time goes by]

[Oh come on, they didn't mention it was going to be insanely powerful and shooting Ice Beams at us!!!]

[Anyway. Wheatley fumbles with the Revive, but manages to catch it. He immediately restores his Woobat, who seems rather dazed and wondering where the hell she is. Poor thing. He pets her and mumbles something that's probably meant to be calming but really sounds more like Wheatley's usual... Wheatleyness. The bat seems to accept that as soothing and flaps her wings a few times. She's ready for battle, master! Let her go!]

Ah, yes. Thank you.

[Hopefully that Koffing will do more than the snake. It really can't do much of anything outside of shoot Seed Bomb attacks at Suicune. Obviously it's not doing anything - assuming those attacks are even connecting at all.]

[Of course the only reason GLaDOS would ever help him out is because it's required for the mission. He's not mistaking that for kindness or anything! Really, that would be ridiculous.]

Well, it's good to see you've been training without me having to drag you outside.

[The remark is snarky, but it would probably work better if Wheatley wasn't crossing his arms and tsuning really hard.]

[...what.]

I don't remember asking for your assessment of the situation.

Oh of course not! Fine. Fine. If you don't want to talk, that's perfectly fine. Understandable, really. There's a battle to focus on and all that. You can fight the giant horror-beast here and I'll go over there. Will that make it any better?

[>:| GLaDOS.]

[oh my godddddddddddddd you cannot be serious right now

right now]

I really don't think this is the time.

[HE IS ALWAYS SERIOUS!!! WHY DON'T YOU EVER TAKE HIM SERIOUSLY!?]

Right, right. Of course it isn't. Would you like an apology? I could give you one. It wouldn't be very sincere. Or sincere at all. But it's the thought that counts, isn't it?
neurotoxined: (Got my own thing; I am testing)

[...HMPH.]

I want you to stop talking. Is it that difficult?

[Wh--]

[RUDE OH MY GOD]

Yes, well--!

[He... actually doesn't have anything to say to that. Instead he'll sulk and return his attention to the battle--]

[...Oh, whoops, sorry Alpha. When did you faint anyway? He'll just return the snake then...]

[Eyerolling. So much eyerolling.

Not like you can see it very well with all the headgear everyone's got on, but it's the thought that counts.]

See? If you would actually pay attention -

[...you would have noticed that her Koffing's out as well, awesome.]

...right. Well.

...You were saying?

[Clearly snarking is far more important than this battle! Right, well! Let's try a different tactic entirely! Wheatley tosses out one of his newer Pokémon, a Ditto.]

Alright, Gamma! Transform into that thing! Let's see what you can do!

[The Ditto stares at Wheatley for a moment. You've gotta be shitting me, man. But when Wheatley doesn't alter the order any, the Ditto heaves a sigh and tries to take on Suicune's form. It... kind of works? It's admittedly a very herpy looking, level 15 Suicune, but it's the thought that counts!]

[Wheatley checks the Gear for the moves Gamma now knows, lifting an eyebrow curiously.]

It knows a lot of interesting moves. Psychic, Water, Flying, Ice... I wonder what type it is...?

[Oh right, what should you use, Gamma?]

Let's try Bubblebeam, Gamma!

[HIS CHOICE IN MOVES...]
